I upgraded to premium plus from a regular premium membership account and discovered the HTML5 player was not available, so I didn't think it was worth the money to upgrade. I tried to downgrade, but I didn't see the option to downgrade.

I emailed customer support and it has been about a day since and I haven't gotten a response yet. I don't know what the average wait time is for the email support to reply back.

Anyone else have experience/advice regarding an account downgrade?

I believe you have to cancel your renewal so that when the period you've already paid for ends your account goes back to "Normal." Then you can start back up with regular premium.

It can sometimes take a couple days for support to get back to you -- though maybe faster for account/billing related stuff like this and maybe they can something so it automatically switches over (I honestly don't know). But for anyone else reading this who wants to know how to do the same thing without contacting support, it's basically cancel current, let it run out, then sign up with regular premium. There's no self-service way to just automatically downgrade.

I canceled it myself through my account settings. I can't remember how exactly but I think it was in payment settings. I was put up to the more expensive subscription without being asked and then saw it pretty much only benefits Americans and is a waste of money to everyone else.

I recently cancelled my premium membership then I accidentally hit the change plan button. I don't want to be charged for anything how can make absolute sure that my membership is cancelled?

So I get this message when I try to cancel again, does that mean I'm good?

You need to edit your message and remove the "$" from within the string to make it display.

Yes, you should be good (provided you paid by credit card and not PayPal or iTunes), although to be on the safe side, you should save that image until after your membership would have renewed.

Sorry I took so long too edit, it was late at night when I posted that. So it is saying I don't have an active recurring account. That should I'm good right?

If you used PayPal instead of a credit card there is one more step.

You would also have to cancel the automatic scheduled payment that would have been set up on that site. PayPal does push payments, so if those are not stopped on PayPal, they would still continue... In the US, this is the link, not sure if it s the same thing overseas: https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/autopay/

If it was just a CC, then you should be done.
