I enjoy the premise of these kinds of shows I just want the execution to be up to snuff.

The plot summary sounds boring. If they put a lot of spin on it similar to overlord, it could be a fun watch.

This one is ok but personally I'd rather have "the reincarnated one doesn't want to cheat" it's a lot cuter and more fun.

Well, it could be interesting depending upon whether the main girl is actually a character or just another one in the coming harem.

These sort of alternate world stories with over-powered protagonists makes me really miss Grimgar...

When editors ask what the story is about and the author replies

"Well I have a teenage boy going to a fantasy universe and he gets ultimate power."

The editor should then ask

"And?"

In the case of Knight's and Magic for instance it would be
"And he's a giant robot otaku who helps defend his kingdom in hopes of eventually developing the ultimate giant robot."

Where Smartphone would be
"..."

The problem with a lot of these shows is simply that the author just wants a power fantasy harem and NOTHING beyond that. There are some that are executed well or enjoyable beyond that, but a lot of recent ones are just THAT, and it feels pointless to watch them. I might as well go masturbate in the corner, I'll get a better experience and it will only take 5 minutes instead of 25.

What i've read of it it seems to be just the two of them.

The guy gets high end Buff magic making him physically unbeatable and the girl gets all elements of magic making her a rediculously powerful mage.

They have met other people but as far as I know the party is just the two of them, no sign of a harem just yet.

What editor? I'm starting to suspect that light novel authors in Japan just feed text files into some kind of marketing algorithm.

If I’m not mistaken, that’s just a fancy way of saying ‘web novel.’ So in other words, the author simply typed it up, then uploaded it to a website for people to read, as opposed to sending it to a publisher.

Which of course, also means no editors were involved at all.

I’m pretty sure a lot of light novels start off that way. This one apparently started on the website “Shosetsuka ni Naro,” which is also where both Knights and Magic and In Another World with my Smartphone started, as well as others such as Log Horizon and the currently airing Isekai Izakaya Nobu.

Gosh, what a new and original concept. An isekai with absurdly overpowered characters in a generic fantasy world. That's sure to be action-packed, with all sorts of tense drama.

Funny that I just recently got done watching In Another World With My Smartphone, Overlord, and Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody. But one of those three was actually a good show, so you never know.
