From the creative mind of Naoki Hisaya (Head writer of Kanon) and the character designs by Naru Nanao (Designer of Da Capo) brings you Sola (Comes from romanizing the Japanese word Sora (空 meaning sky).

Yorito Morimiya loves taking pictures of the sky so much that one day, he wakes up at 4 AM to take pictures of the sunrise overlooking the bay. However, he is deterred when he meets a strange girl trying to force a vending machine that stole her money. Yorito helps her with forcing the machine but when the machine finally vends, the girl has mysteriouslly vanished.

Sola (Sora) is a wonderfully thought out and original story that will leave you wondering what is around the corner. Never giving too much away until just the right time, it imeadiatly seems to draw you into the plot and leave you wanting more. The music is good and the animation is on par, making for an enjoyable watch. The individual charecters interactions with eachother stems from a complex interwoven series of relationships that only add to the story.

This series is very good and interesting. The character relations are complex and as you find out more you want more until you get to the end where it is rather sad but is really fitting and good.

I thought that this anime was nicely done and one of it's winning point was the music. My favourite song was Miageru Ano Sora De though...that songs just brings with it a really uplifting feeling and I feel better every time I listen to it.The plot itself was really intriguing and interesting. There were some pretty intense action in the middle episodes though. The way they ended the ending was appropriate,I think,it's sad and all but on the whole,I think it's the only ending that Sola deserves and that it's best for all of them.

I loved Sola, after this I was inspired to take sky pictures as well...

Otherwise, the plot is very deep and the characters are rich with diversity from other "Kanon" characters

i like this story, and it is sad, but touching, i haven't seen it in a while, so i cant remember much about it, but when i think of it, it makes me smile.
And it is an anime i wont mind watching over.
It was a very sweet anime, it made me cry a bit, but i liked it a lot.
The art was also very pretty and cute, but i seen better.

I watched this one a few days ago... I really liked it, including the OVAs which added some more depth into the story.

It had a lot of layers to it, and thoroughly enjoyed it as they pealed away at the plot, unfolding everything nicely. They did a wonderful job at piecing together the characters, and their relationships... As well as the intriguing, yet shocking moments. Like that of finding out what Yorita really was.

As I said to romeo before... It's quite funny how they don't use the typical vampire in this one... I don't want to spoil to much for those who haven't watched it yet... But it's nice to have, once in a while, something that strays off from the pack^^

Some of the fight scenes were pretty intense as well, and from the graphical standpoint, good as well. Emotional, thrilling, in-depth plot, interesting characters, with an a refreshing take on your typical super-natural being... Sola is well deserved to be praised^^

I liked the ending to this anime, it fit and everything was fixed. The relationships between the characters were interesting. I like that way they showed the past for explanation for why they act certian ways much more comparred to in some animes they just show the character's face and they tell some long and boring story.

this anime didn't really leave a strong impact on me.
except for the fact that i look at the sky a bit more often now.
i enjoyed it all the same but i wasn't completely satisfied with the ending.
as i recall, i kinda got emotional with this one but it failed to make me cry =p
