My favorite anime character of all time is Gatts from Berserk! I love how he decapitated his enemy whit his giant sword.

Naruto was a complex , but good character with a sweet progress in personality up until the show started to stagnate too much
Nel from Bleach is also one of my fav's.

I have a few favorite characters(At least 7 or 8 out of many animes I watched)But I would go with Yamamoto Takeshi from Katekyo Hitman Reborn.I can relate to Yamamoto in many aspects and the way he gives up everything to protect his friends and love ones.
