if you don't anger me, we can all share the love.

there will always be stupid people, and there will always be nice people

I don't care what color you are, but if you are inherently an idiot, theres only one thing that would come to mind.

Stop being an idiot

Do whatever you want, I'm white

No i see it as a good thing, that you are an individual, not just a follower and are a free thinker.

If I say yes, will you start supporting BLM? I don't understand these questions of yours asking for validation.

Yes, you are silly.

This is the luxury of being an American, the freedom to choose.
That is not to say that other countries do not have the same type of freedom; more to the point that you're an American and you can make your own decisions.
Seeking validation from strangers will not satisfy your need to confirm whether or not your views are rational (especially on this particular forum, for numerous reasons).
Believe what you choose to believe.
You are not forced to walk the tightrope just because everyone else seems to be doing so.

I'd be actively trying to find ways to shut them down.

Do whatever you believe is best for you and those you care about, and never feel obligated to join any organization or group, just because you "relate" to the members and their purpose. As for me, i don't give a damn about any white people and/or males, i just happen to be both. They're not my "brothers and sisters" or anything important to me. It's only when someone directly targets me and insults me for being white or a male do i get frustrated and likely retaliate.

No. I see no point in doing so. I just asked a harmless question granted it is stupid but I had to ask it because it was bothering me.

No, it's definitely not silly - you should not support any people or group if they do not do things that you view as useful to whatever causes you believe in. (or much of what they do works against them)

Much of what BLM does is counter-productive to improving the situation for blacks. They at this point, are fighting for segregation in the name of equality, meanwhile they completely miss the mark as to what the real problems facing the black community are. Inner-city violence, employment, education. Of course, many of those are the same for any other group of people living within the US these days. It's good to stand up for one's people / race, but I do sort of take issue with the strict adherence to making the problems they do talk about "black problems" - that too misses....the rioting and hate mobs don't help either, though. They aren't even accomplishing their goal of awareness at this point...

This is actually the same reason it's foolish to blindly support a political partisan, they will always have a bunch of things that you don't believe in lumped in with a few that you do. In my opinion that's why they came to be in the first place - it's a method of controlling the masses opinions and actions. "You don't agree with everything we do? you're one of those 'other' guys! traitor!" - that kind of crap. It's nice to have your own beliefs without letting yourself be suckered into mob mentality.

Nope, it's not silly. You're not required to support them just because you're black. Anyone who tells you that you have to support them is either an idiot or trying to sell you something.

The movement lacks a strong leader. A leader that has no tolerance for violence within the movement.
Since there's no leadership like that, the movement has been toxic and self destructive in my opinion.
I moved to Saint Louis in June of 2014 right before Michael Brown got shot. That was definitely an interesting summer.
I was living quite a ways south from Ferguson (still in St Louis area) and the marches/riots hit one of the main streets called Grand.
So many shops had their windows broken and within the following days, a vast majority of them were boarded up.
At least the artists showed up and they turned the street into some kind of weirdly beautiful strip amidst the destruction.
I wonder if I still have those photos...

Sorry for the tangent. xD
