The show itself is whatever, to me it seems like it'll be at best a middle of the road okay show with decent art.

Really, it's just a mess of advertisement via wokeness and thinking that it's what people want. I kinda hope one day those that push for wokeness in media actually stop and think to themselves, "What if we actually put in the effort to make a good show to prove to everyone that we can push an ideology and make a good product." But as it stands it's just another low effort shill show for an ideology that most people are getting sick and tired of.

The opening phrase of the video was a bit cringe. Especially because of how vague and broad the statement was. But it’s also just PR speak. At the end of the day if the people making the show aren’t 100% committed to the idea and hype who will be. It also has the side effect of triggering people and getting them talking like we are now. So it’s free publicity.

When I actually get to see a trailer for the show instead of basically a behind the scenes type video, then maybe I'll have an opinion one way or the other. But at this time I couldn't care less about the show.

Pretty much. It was like a Kickstarter video, hoping everyone would be excited about their concept and vision of the future. Instead they confused a whole lot of people.

Aye, we don't really have enough information to make an accurate judgement at this point. The only people who really seem to care about it either way right now are the ones getting triggered by the female writing staff.

I'll give the show a try, but to be honest I could really care less about it right now. If I end up disliking it, oh well, it happens. No different than any other animation out there, you either like it or you hate it. I love Rocko's Modern Life, hate Spongebob. I love Asobi Asobase, hate Bobobo Bo Bobobo or what ever that one was called. American or Japanese, I don't care, it's a show for the purpose of entertainment.

It kinda feels like CR and Elation are trying to copy what Netflix and Hulu are doing with their "originals" to be honest.

The trailer didn't make me interested in the show at all either. For me, I feel like a 'trailer' like that should be something that should be shown after a few episodes have aired, or maybe an extra in the boxsets if it makes it to home release...

I used to wonder why people hate feminism, now I see why, and this is another clarification for me. I feel like feminists these days are so pushy about female empowerment. It used to be about gender equality and getting rights for both genders, now it's more like, "We're females, we can do anything a male can". Like seriously, get over it. Men are better than you at some things, stop trying to be equal all the time, and continually spreading this nonsense, and actually hire people based on merits rather than because they're females.

I enjoy pointing out the hypocrisy of the shitfit people throw over "all male" anything, but the absolute silence from those who call for "diversity" over what is quite the opposite of diversity.

I know they won't say anything, but it's always fun to poke the bear.

I don't know about this. I feel like if they released the show, without telling anyone about who was behind the scenes, and I didn't like it then that would just be my opinion to which I am entitled.

But nowadays, given that I now know who is behind the scenes if I watch it and don't like I'll be a toxic male. So my opinion is currently being held hostage.

Can I dislike this? Is that ok? I think I'll just ignore this and hope it goes away but if anyone asks I'll say I support it (depending on who asks and who is in earshot).

What the fuck does this show have to do with feminism?!

I don't care that it's a female staff; I mean ok...but I want a good story.... nor do I intend to watch it. It looks typical CN to me, but whatever.

CR isn't pointing a gun to my head nor splashing this all over to make me watch this.

In my experience, such complaints are only prevailent when it has a noticable effect on the writing quality; like when an all-male team utterly fails at depicting female characters realisticlly, which is as much about their lack of writing skill as it is their gender. Nothing hypocritical about that.

Seriously. More people seem to be popping off because it's a female staff than the fact that it's an original series.

I mean...it's an odd thing to advertise, but JFC Crunchyroll.... NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO WATCH THIS

it'll probably wind up on that VRV channel of theirs anyway. Don't they have English dubbed shows on there?

Watch the trailer, it basically screams feminism, "we didn't have a voice before, now with all female staffs, we finally have a voice".

I don't know why you mention that pointing a gun to your head to me, I'm not that triggered to make a thread about this cartoon. I commented on the topic, and that's what forumers do.
