Kirari Tsukishima is a beautiful yet gluttonous 14-year-old girl. While those around her are worshipping the popular idol duo, SHIPS, she only devotes herself to food. One day, however, Kirari, who is dense when it comes to the matters of the heart, encounters Seiji Hiwatari of SHIPS and falls in love with him at first sight. In order to be with him, she aspires to become an idol herself. With the help of SHIPS - the gentle Seiji and the bad-mouth Hiroto Kazama – and her cat mascot Naa-san, Kirari pursues the entertainment world, where she discovers that being an idol is not all fun and games, and that in order to persevere in both her love and her career, she must overcome any challenges that fortune has in store.

Kirarin Revolution is fun and enjoyable to watch, though a little on the childish side for younger audiences. However, filled with a joyful atmosphear and positive attitudes, this show is perfict for anyone who still has the kid in them that used to wake up every Saturday morning at the crack of dawn just to watch "Saturday Morning Cartoons".

It's a delight to watch~! I'm glad the subbers are doing a great job with trying to get as many eps done as they can. I love how somehow Kirari's music always ends up saving the day somehow, but I do kind of wish they would put more emphasis on the relationship with whom she shared a part of the movie in, because I've been there and its just fun to watch. (I don't wanna spoil it for those who haven't reached that part yet)

I thought that this was a rather good shoujo, considering. One of the flaws of this anime is that there are just simply too many fillers and too drawn-out.I agree..this is an anime for fun watching and the music was done nicely.

i think it is a really good anime. in the beginning it was great to see kirarin succeed her dreams and become more popular every episode. some where around episode 30 i started to feel like i was seeing the same thing over and over again. Kirarin has a problem, kirarin solves it in the end. i stopped watching it at episode 39 and i'm not planning to keep watching it till the plot of the episodes change. I'm having my friends tell me what the episodes were about and what they tell me it doesn't look like i'm going to keep watching soon. It's a really good anime but it needs a change in the near future

i liked it at first... but by episode 40 i got a bit ( or a lot) bored with it. there should be more kirari/hiroto moments, or more kirari/seji moments. i get bored real easily, and i actually lasted for a while on this one...

I agree with darlinglife. I think the creator just wanted to make it long. Its so boring that i skipped most of the episodes. After i got up to about 20, its just a repetition of all the other episodes. it like watching a whole bunch of episodes and you know whats going to happen. [i have a lot of critics for this anime] I also find it annoying how kirarin always come and save the day. its like watching disney in anime form..next thing you know, theyll be putting 'and they lived happily ever after'. I like the songs and drawing for this anime though. So hopefully this wont be a waste of my time.
