Well I have put more than 100 hours on the last 2 games so pro

Edit: I know the amount of time does not make you a pro but I think Im a pro since im good at it and when brawls out at least there are gonna be online tournaments so thats where we can play against other pros, to be a pro you dont need to know advance techniques like wavedashing or l cancel and u dont need to play against other pros In my opinion I think it depends on how good u play.
This is just my opinion everyone thinks of how to be a pro differently.

The amount of time played doesn't make you a pro. You can call yourself a pro after playing in tournaments and doing well as well as being able to do some of the advanced techniques. When Brawl is out in America, were all noobs to start even though you were good in melee.

I haven't played in any tournaments for melee but I have played pros and did well. I also know how to do advanced techniques such as wavedashing and l-cancelling. So I find myself in the middle in Melee. I haven't even played Brawl yet, so I guess I'm a noob there lol. I will learn quickly since I did well in melee.

edit:

I'm not saying your not good, you probably are really good, it's just that it's the best way to prove yourself thats all (tournaments). Yeah advanced techniques don't mean anything, I play well without them and Brawl took them out anyways.

With that said and done, I hope everyone gets to pro level =).

I'm in between. I can put up a good fight but have trouble with advanced techniques. This is mostly due to me not having anyone to pratice with.

I miss shffl-ing in brawl I keep trying to l-cancel even though I know it's not in brawl >.< and fast falling just doesn't seem to be so fast any more so Fox and Falco's shl/shdl can't be done.
Not so bothered about wave dashing as I never really liked doing it any way (Not that I could do it properly with Fox and Falco but Marth's wave dash was ridiculously easy to do).
Also air dodge in brawl won't change your direction, it's just like doing a shield dodge in the air whilst still moving and you can jump after doing it, so it's possible to dodge multiple times while still in the air.

Apart from that, brawl plays pretty much like melee. So if you're good at melee you'll be good at brawl, just have to revert to the days before all the silliness was found in the game. Until brawl silliness is found that is.

Yeah , No more shffl-ing with Falco. I actually like the new falco though and look forward to using him.

5th place isn't bad. At least you were able to do well in a tournament. I never got to going to one .

I dunno, I'd call myself half, or 2/3 of a pro at Smash Bros, and I own the original and Melee

Hmmm...I think I'm semi-pro. I am 99.9% unbeatable when I play with my friends, but the hardest mode I can beat in Melee is hard. I haven't even played Brawl, so I don't know where I stand there.
