Okay, my topic hasn't been posted here in CR yet (I think, I did search), but if there is a duplicate, please terminate my thread

This problem is not my problem alone, it's everyones. My topic is about these small, little fugly creatures, called... pimples or also known as acne. Which grows no matter what. For those who didn't have one, I curse you!!

You know the details, it grows on your face around 13-14 or earlier and stays there till your 15-16 or more. So, I'm bringing out the topic. What's your secret for killing them? I really hate it, but acne ruins my heavenly life. And I can sense that they might grow back I don't want to end up swearing in the bathroom everytime one or two grows. Since I know nothing special about this, can anyone share their methods?

Stay away fomr Sugary food like chocolate and greasy food like bacon...
Exercise ALOT ( i jog about 5 miles a day )
drink plenty of water
i wash my face before and after i eat so there is no grease or suger on my face ^^

I'll change the title slightly so it's more obvious what this thread is about ^-^

If you follow a good routine and healthy lifestyle you should be safe from acne. It can sometimes be genetic or caused by a hormone imbalance in extreme cases ^-^

Tips
- Drink plenty of water - 5 cups a day works well ^-^
- Don't drink too much milk (make sure you get calcium still though)
- Use an exfoliating wash about once a day - not too often or it will make it worse
- Regular exercise
- 5 Fruit and vegetables a day
- Plenty of sleep ^-^ - around 8 hours a night
- Don't touch your face too much or pick/scratch spots
- Wash your hair reguarly or grease can transfer on to your skin
- If you pop one (ewww) make sure you read up on it first and use antibacterial cream.

^-^ tada! You pick up things when you grow up on stupid girly magazines with double page specials on 'Blitz those Zits' haha ^-^

how about if it is genetic..like it runs in your family??..
Posted 7/19/07
well Alcohol is only helpful if you use rubbing alcohol... pour a small to good amnt and rub your entire face with it hard.... esp the forehead cause thats where your hair (usually) touches so a lot of grease is up there

Could be a food allergy too.
At my age I still get them WHEN I eat foods I'm allergic too.
It really pisses me off when I eat food not correctly labelled and it turns out to have an have an allergen in it.
Also stress can cause a breakout. so don't stress out.

yeah stress... get into a sport like Kendo (like me) or paintball (like me again) that way you can vent all of your stress out on people ^^
