i was playing ff7 at 6|00 in the morning (after staying up all night) sitting about 1.5 feet away from a 42" tv (i had it hooked up to the computer, on the computer desk), after being in the dark for 5 hours straight, when i got into a random encounter (the screen goes bright white) and... i don't remeber what happened for a couple of minutes....scary

damn!! no. 7 is good!

Think i saw an incident on TV show Cops where they arrested a 43 yr old man who murdered his friend. he came to his friends' house and hammered him with a replica warhammer on the head. The reason was the game everquest. after his friend/guildmate traded some rare items or something which he wanted so badly to some other player. Sometimes they couldnt identify reality from fantasy already. its fcked up once uve got that attitude towards MMORPG. Ive seen players who's so into the game with those kinda attitude. theyre pretty messed up and i feel sorry for them.

Hmmm I remember a story on how people in China are paid less than a dollar a day to collect gold for a company in World of Warcraft. xD

They get fed, a home to live in and free WoW - but the only catch is that they have to hand in all their gold to the company. Dx

The weirdest thing that ever happened to me personally was I killed a guy with an RPG from across the map by accident. And I was just firing randomly lol.

7. A Boy saves his sister from a moose attack with skills learned from World of Warcraft!

Once he was a target, Hans remember another skill he'd picked up at level 30 in 'World of Warcraft' -- he feigned death. The moose lost interest in the inanimate Hans and wandered off into the woods. When he was safely alone Hans ran back home to share his tale of video game-inspired survival.

Imagine if that kid was on lvl 29 and never learned feigned death

Lol I like that gunbound one where he wouldn't give his account away even at gunpoint

and that world of warcraft incident where the kid learned skills from Warcraft was funny

I posted a website on CR couple weeks ago about two guys from different clans who fought in real life, and one ended up killing the other

If I was top player in a game, I sure as hell wouldn't give them my password. It may sound a little wierd, but seriously! If they killed you, they would never be able to get the password. Simple as that. Taking you hostage wouldn't work either. It would work out the same way as being held at gunpoint.

Anyways, No.7 was really hilarious, the others were a bit tragic. But I've used some of the things from Americas army during LARPs when people tripped down a hill or got whacked really hard with unfoamed boffers.

Ironically,

(I'm citing the source that I found thhis from: Gamepro.com)

Heather Trujillo, 16, and boyfriend Lamar Roberts, 17, were arrested Tuesday for killing Trujillo's 7-year-old sister, Zoe Garcia. The teens were baby-sitting when the incident happened on Dec. 6 while the sisters' mother was at work.

Trujillo and Roberts reportedly punched, kicked, tortured, and body-slammed the young girl causing 20 bruises, a broken wrist, internal bleeding, and ultimate death.

An unnamed witness quoted in the court affidavit said she asked Roberts whether Zoe asked them to stop. "Yeah, she told me to stop," he said. When asked why he didn't stop, he replied, "I don't know; I was drunk."

It is unclear if the suspects specifically cited Mortal Kombat as inspiration for their malicious cruelty or if the prosecution loosely named the game as an accomplice after Roberts admitted to "playing video games" leading up to the incident.

If convicted, Trujillo and Roberts face up to 48 years in prison.
