I've never experienced a really bad Earthquake. We don't feel earthquakes in the UK, but they seem really scary and would freak me out!

Earthquakes are easy to deal with, it's tornadoes and flash-flood that scare the hell out of me.

Psh! then you have only experienced silly earthquakes then.
Try an 8.5 ritcher scale scale earthquake and let's see you laugh then.
Or not even that, just a medium one in a non seismic prepared building....not very funny.

Disaster experience(s) so far:

earthquake: none... I create my own earthquakes when I go stuff myself in Chinese Restaurant's "Eat All You Can" buffet.

tornados: none... People farting out of nowhere is the worst.

plane crashed: none... I accidentally broke my Transformer's Starscream model. =*(

ship shinking: none

tsunamis: none... It would be cool though riding those big waves, then out of nowhere a hungry shark came out and bitten half of your body a la Samuel L. Jackson in the movie Deep Blue Sea.

when animals attack: my neighbor's dog almost bit me on the ass. I mostly got cat scratches. Does getting pooped by birds counts? o_0

fire accident: none... well, I accidentally burn a tiny surface area of my left forearm while operating a factory-made dish washing machine.

terrorist attacks: none. I was watching TV in my highschool homeroom class when 9/11 happened.

hurricane: I lived in Florida for 7yrs. The worst case scenario I experienced was when I was stuck in Cedars hospital and the whole place when out of electricity because of the hurricane (forgot the name). The hospital ran the backup generator but that too was suspended due to tremendous force the hurricane was applying. Imagine, no electricity to run those life supports for the patients. On-going surgeries on that time were risky.
And, I was hungry. meh. I just scratched my butt and waited.

I have experienced a small earthquake in my home country where earthquakes are very rare. It happened early hours in the morning and i was in bed, it was shaking and felt like one of those massage beds lol. i could hear the front door shaking too, it was small and passed away quickly. Scary at first but as my first earthquake, it will always be significant to me.

@itsuniquexp:

it depends how strong the ground/plate movement i guess.. some earthquakes are soo small you can't feel them others are terrifying and causes buildings to collapse, roads/pavements destroyed cars blowing up and people dying - just a lot of chaos
