i live in san francisco, and in my school, all the girls have long hair thats the same length.
NO BANGS.. i'm on of the few girls who have an asian hairstyle in my grade. (why won't they get bangs? their hair is just so flat and PLAiN.)

so say where you live and describe your peers' typical hair styles?
i made this out of complete curiosity.

They don't NEED to get bangs. Some people don't want to follow the bandwagon like every other person in the world.

Well, I live in Vegas, so my school have people with pretty awesome hair. Some look really fake with the gel and such, but overall, we have good hair. If you have hair without bangs, you probably just moved here xD.

Nope i dont think so, i mean i do look around to see who has what hair and so so but i usually go with my idol's not the people around me. majority of the kids at my school either wears a baseball cap or have morning hair and that sums up the boys >.< the girls they got scene hair and ponytails or some sort of tie to it and some just let it run straight (layered or course) then there's those more uniques one who experiment and are crazy looking like mohawk kids or super freakishly long hair that extend to the buttox (sad thing is they're guys and they dont look good with it either has split ends and dont take care of it >.<) then there's so much more but i tend to look to idols for inspiration. or what ever i feel like that day. at this point in my life i still dont have a set hairstyle i'm always having fun with it. some months i'd get a hair cut and have it short ( like 1 1/2 in length) other's i 'd save for like 2 moths and grow it out to 4in or so and play with it... creepy me lol but yea, i dont like the people at my school's sense of taste so no way an i gonna follow that. no one will tell me to cut my hair there either it's public and the school only has like a total of 30 asians outta like 1,000 kids so i got the racist card be hind me all da way lol ( or majority of the time i guess they look down on me as being an asian so they never bother to tell me anything, i dont care though because i know better) bye bye i think this should be long enough to keep you busy ^_^.

I went to a school were everyone had awesome hair.
Then I moved...
Now I'm in a very -- pro-conforming place.
My mom went to hair stylist a few days ago and she asked for them to dye her hair a dark brown and not to cut it the way every other woman in this town cuts it.
And guess how they cut it?
They cut it the way she told them not to, and dyed her hair purple!
Although the purple's pretty cool, it looks weird on my mom... ^^'
Thus I refuse to get my hair cut here. I'll have to wait until the summer when I go back home! <3

Nope everybody is there own person, and if all the girls are gonna be getting no bangs and same length of hair to "fit in" then there followers. Just because you live somewhere, doesnt mean its gonna affect who you are as a person. If i were to move somewhere were everybody wore black and put gel in there hair. Im not gonna change who i am and still gonna remain the same person.

in reality it does.. for example..

when i lived in japan = LOTS of cool hair people compare to other counties
moved to korea = some cool hair, sure, but not many stylish ppl...
moved to USA = no... just no... maybe 1/1000 ppl have cool hair..... very few.. because of the culture difference... they have their own stuff.... not influenced by Azn hairstyles yet..
