I live in Tri-Cities, Washington, and it's very plain here when it comes to hair fashion. The city I live in is populated by Mexicans, and they don't like having long hair, 95% of them get buzz cuts. The ones that decide to have hair (2 inches long) just spike their hair with gel. They don't even bother to buy good quality gel, either. When they're done, their hair looks wet. I don't find their style the least bit attractive. But to each their own, eh?

Besides the Mexicans, there are a few Caucasians (white guys) who have really long hair, but don't really take good care of it. Very few actually try to look good. I'm probably the only guy who has long hair and manages to keep it clean, shiny, and style it to make it look good. For those wondering how my hair looks like, just watch DBSK's HUG video. My hair looks like JaeJoong's, but 2 inches longer.

Anyway, to answer the question: No, where I live does not affect my hairstyle one bit. I like to look unique and not like a plain copy of everyone else.

Take care.

yes it matters....all the way to a county.....and it depends if the people there enjoy asian media...then they will have styles that are influenced.........like where im at...all the asian guys have shaved cuts and a few have that short hair with a front that's slightly longer.....im like the only one who's not in the monotony

^Different places have different trends. Where I live, it's pretty much Asian-ville (mostly Chinese people too). But the style over here differs from HK or China.
