lol I dont even think lots of people used the download option a lot cause the download quota gets expired and stuff... and people could just go to veoh or something to download but I'm kinda sad...

welll... you can actually download form CR without quota... and i think CR wont be in trouble with the 'legal' thing cuz noone really know if sumbody download... to be honest i download a couple... without quota... simply use video download helper.... hahahahahah~~~~ *please dont ban me.... wont download no more**

Darn, I just found this website and was looking forward to downloading some of the Drama's. Main reason for downloading them for me is that I was looking for some specific dramas and they were removed. I did not want to be in the middle of a drama and then all of the sudden I could not watch the end, because it was removed.
That is a real bummer, since I also don't have internet all the time and this way I would have been able to take my dramas with me (long plane rides, get so much shorter that way).
I hope you find an alternate solution. Turrent are ok, but the quality of the video really s...s and it takes forever to download.
Could you just get a special pay level just for downloads. I mean the people that really want to download will pay for it, but all others just have their regular membership. Or you pay per download?
I'll hope there will be a solution for this

Well, it seems it was not a money problem in the first place, but the extra maintainance. And since not many users used the download feature, Shinji would rather concentrate on other problems. I think...

You can try downloading dramas from d-addicts and jpopsuki, they have more dramas than CR anyway and the download speed is usually decent, if not you can request reseeding ;-)

I'm a little upset, as I am using the download feature for one series I KNOW I can't find anywhere else without the file being corrupted ( Akazukin Cha Cha ). ;~;

The download feature was basically useless from the start since the majority are regular users.
There're only a handful of users who've a Star Membership and donate to CR,
