Not all the series in my favorites are things that i'd recommend. Two of em are just there cuz i might watch them so they serve as a reminder. When I'm currently watching a series i just favorite the last episode i watched to keep my place.

What i mean is that they aren't all great anime in my favorites page. Some are just anime that i enjoy. My picks are the ones that i think are great.

Well to be honoest with you a rateing system for the serries would work better. Then a option to short by rating. So that way it is everyone's opoin and easy to find and look though. Like 1 is should be burned, 2 bad 3 ok 4 recommend 5 must watch or soemthing like that

Yay, my list is ready for viewing. Search with 'Faeleia's pick', and super pick indicates I really reccommend the series.

I don't even use that, I usually chat with my anime buddies and hear their recommendations, they know my taste and I know theirs, way higher chance of getting a series that you'll really get into.

Have you seen Disney films lately?? At least Spirited Away doesn't have corny CG effects or sing-alongs.

But I do have to admit it was a little overrated, it was above average and unique, but it wasn't completely superb(a little too predictable for the mindfuck audience, a little too mindfuck for the childish audience)

Great idea Bazou, but to make it easier for the cynics to accept, you should probably reveal your personal favorite genre to the public. Then users could understand if your picks are overrated or not.

Some people on here, think people like certain types of shows more because of them falling into their fav genres.(I believe it, too) Mine is mindfuck=philosophical shows that leave you thinking/disturbed. My bias would naturally be against cliche or ditsy plots.

I would always consider that before recommending to chibi and shounen lovers.
