Picking now a lifestyle. Lol. I believe that if someone likes a particular series, they must have their reasons for it. Therefore, I recommend trying all the moderator's picks. You can sorta tell their personality just by their picks. For example, compare Basou's (unique, with good plot) with Slowdanse's (eye candy with comedic results), and uchari's (KRomantic Comedy, down to earth), animestudz (really some energetic anime he recommends)

Did I forget to recommend Saikano: Last Love Song On This Little Planet btw?

This anime was so miserable it made my dorm mates tear up...just saying if you even slightly enjoyed what Grave of the Fireflies did to you, you will LOVE this...it hurts in an adorably mortal wound sort of way.

I think there is also an OVA from another character's perspective..hurts so much they could do it twice. lol
