As long as they socialized its ok... even if i'm an anime fan i still think that you should still be able to other things in my life. Its nice that i get to talk to someone who appreciates them but it stinks that there world revolves in these only... because when we had an activity once it sucks when he got he didn't do anything for the group yet he was able to attend all the cosplay events and get updated in anime but never shows when we need to finish the group work he didn't even show up  |

Otaku's can be a bit frightening, at school there were two girls who had carved out tht leaf shape frm naruto onto metal plates and constantly wore those metal plates around their heads...it looked uncomfy..

Otaku is just not for anime. Otaku is a specialist. So you can be an otaku for just about anything. So sometimes it's not necessarly a bad thing.

Im glad theres a nicer name for them...
Im Ok With it, I guess. But when I see those "Otaku" people at school, I wonder if they're happy. I mean, you can be obsessed with that stuff and still have a social life, lots of friends, and a nice outward appearance. Anime/Manga freaks around here have no sense of fashion...

If you like J drams....watch Densha Otoko....its about otaku. It is number 14 on the top 50 Jdrams on Jdorama.com. It is a really good show. And it will give you all a really good Idea of what an Otaku really is! CHECK IT OUT!
