But I love having buddies, so when someone asks, I check their profile and see what we have in common. Most people have a lot of friends in their "real life", so maybe don't think it is important to have buddies online. But I am housebound and my computer is my "lifeline", as my husband used to call it. After I became disabled, then after my hubby died, most of the people I know drifted away, so I basically don't have a lot of friendly human contact, except for some family members who love me.
