Even though we haven't seen many episodes with them together you can feel that something is going on between them, and every time they're together is full of tension. I don't feel this chemistry when Ichigo is with Orihime. Also, It seems that Ulquiorra has made Orihime stronger and litle by little Orihime is changing her character (to become a better person, and able to stand on her on feet). With Ichigo, Orihime seems to be very fragile and unable to do anything (i like a strong Orihime, I mean she has strong powers) These are some of my reasons why I prefer UlquiHime over IchiHime **From emptied-dreams, herself: Juz rmb guys, no flaming pls. Have constructive or civilised debates if u want, but no thrashing of characters. We dun want IchiHime peeps to come wif knives running after us yeah (: We juz have to discuss here wat made us chose UlquiHime instead of IchiHime or other pairings. We explain, but we dun start a forum war ^^ Happy discussing!

Moreover I think Ulquihime is totally unexpected & unique, perhaps making it a special feature of Bleach? xD Besides, I dun want ANYMORE Orihime haters. I have realli enough of them. I cannot stand them! If Tite Kubo were to be cruel enough to put Orihime beside Ichigo, can u imagine the amt of flames tt this anime char will get? Any interactions wif the main char is enough to make the whole world curse her.

Ulqui = sad, gloomy, negative; Hime = happy, bubbly, positive. They balance each other, as do Ichigo and Rukia. ... BTW, this is the reasoning behind all of my pairings.

Ulquiorra doesn't really show any expression which doesn't necessarly means that he's being gloomy, he's just like whatever or ........, the fact that some people think that he's negative is due to what he said to Orihime when Chad was thought dead, but in reality that is the way hollows think and because he's a hollow he may not understand human emotions very well.

Maybe he was trying to show ichigo that he needed more training/power in order to get Orihime back

Whereas Ichigo never has, I mean yeah he is trying to save her but his charector would do that for any of his friends regardless.
