I have been trying to find an old anime I saw years ago. It was at a game convention and I managed to get the VHS from the room presenters. But lost the tape over the years. The anime should be about 20 years old. It was very racey.... So I will try to describe the video without too much offense. It wasnt hentai though as there was no nudity in it. But it sure as heck suggested alot of stuff.

First there is a boy and girl. They are in love. The girl is being taught how to be a good lover by her grandmother. Doing things like pulling a tire with her hmmhmm.... Also the boy is a sex fiend. Well self sex fiend. He misses and hits himself in the face. And last thing I remember is after alot of trials to get together they finally get too at the end in a tank. And the tank was a rockin.

When I saw it the presenters called it Mina Aki Chin. Anyone ever heard of this anime?

I need help! I watched this awesome show about a year ago, but I cant recall the name whatsoever.
I am pretty sure the name of the show is the name of the main character. It's about this dis-topian world that is hollow. the top world is extremely extravagant and the lower world people have to serve them. There is this thick mist that is in between the two levels and if you go through it, you lose all your memories. The main character is the king of this world and he has a big hole in his chest. A bunch of people are searching for him because they want him dead. If I recall correctly they had somehow achieved immortality, but only the privileged are allowed to be immortal. something to do with memories. at any rate, the main character fell through the mist and doesn't remember who he is, or anything about this world. I think there is a body double pretending to be him to keep everyone from freaking out, but he doesnt have the powers of the king. And there is this crazy giant plant/flower that is growing in outer space, and the only person who can stop it from engulfing their entire planet is the true king.

I really hope someone knows what I am talking about, because this show was amazing. I watched all of it at once, and I think that is why I am having a hard time remembering it's name. It was a short series, very simple, but beautiful animation. I want to buy it and have it forever, but having a great deal of trouble finding it, since I dont even remember what it's called. Please help!

Well, if you're in Australia, or have a region 4 (or region free elsewhere in the world) DVD player, according to Twitch it's available at SirenVisual

But in general, yes it's almost a sin how much Anime content is lost or unavailable due to regional licensing differences of agreement. For instance, why has no one picked up JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, or Love Lab for that matter?

In Japan theaters perhaps? There is no other legal place to watch it as far as I know. For those outside Japan, we'll probably just have to wait till the BD and DVD come out for it. I'm assuming it would be Sentai Filmworks that would license it for us (but hasn't yet as far as I know).

I am looking for a show i think it came out in the 1990's im not sure who made it but what I do remember is one episode there is this convoy of tankers carrying water across the desert and is attacked by these aliens or bug like creatures that are attracted to water and when they get near water they get really dangerous and crazy and the main character is I guess a mercenary protecting the convoy get knocked off the tanker that is carrying the water along with some women and they end up sleeping in this bulb like flower plant that is a man eater unless you know how to make it fall asleep. Sorry that is all I remember can anyone give me any ideas what this show's name is it has been bugging me LITERATELY!

Fate/Stay Night was released first, but Fate/Zero is the prequel to that story. You can watch them in either order but...

* If the difference in animation style bothers you, you might want to watch F/SN first and then F/Z since F/Z's animation style is newer and better than the original.

* If chronology matters and you want the story told in a more linear style, watch F/Z first and then F/SN. F/Z fills in many of the questions that you might have if you watch F/SN first.

I have a question which isn't related to anime.. What's the point of having guest passes when all the streams are available for free a week after they are available for premium members?

No commercials, which is pretty important, especially if you are watching one of the 3-5 minute shorts. I'm still waiting for Hulu to have a commercial-free option, I won't subscribe to it until then.

And while it's true the great bulk of the series are set up that way, there are some exclusive shows here and there that you can't see without a membership, Time of Eve comes to mind. Also catalog acquisitions are released all at once for members but might take several weeks for non-members to see.

But really, once you get hooked on something like AOT, the simulcast thing vs waiting a week can seem like a pretty big deal.
