Does anyone know where I can buy Cardcaptor Sakura DVDs? I'm not looking for bootlegs, only official releases. Wikipedia (not the best source I know) says that it was licensed by Madman and released in two DVD box sets.
Madman is an Australian-based company. Most, if not all, of their DVD releases are probably R4, though - so u would need a region-free player or something in order to play them. But u could always get the DVDs from them, I guess, since it still should have English subtitles. However, it was actually licensed and distributed by Geneon in the U.S.. Anyway, u could get it from either of them on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=card+captor+sakura&_osacat=11232&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR8.TRC0.A0.Xcardcaptor+sakura&_nkw=cardcaptor+sakura&_sacat=11232 ~ but be careful of the bootleg ones - most of those will be R0, super cheap, and have Chinese subtitles; the legit ones are generally the ones that have Geneon (or Pioneer) or Madman written on the boxes/DVDs.

U could also get them from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=a9_sc_1?rh=i%3Amovies-tv%2Ck%3Acardcaptor+sakura&keywords=cardcaptor+sakura&ie=UTF8&qid=1382035772).

Or just import them from the Japanese Amazon site (some of them are R2 DVDs, though, and may or may not have English subtitles): http://www.amazon.co.jp/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?__mk_ja_JP=%E3%82%AB%E3%82%BF%E3%82%AB%E3%83%8A&url=search-alias%3Ddvd&field-keywords=%E3%82%AB%E3%83%BC%E3%83%89%E3%82%AD%E3%83%A3%E3%83%97%E3%82%BF%E3%83%BC%E3%81%95%E3%81%8F%E3%82%89.

The blu-rays seem to be available, too, but I'm not sure if all 70 eps have been released for it.

Anyway, hope this helps! And if u need further help or clarifications, don't hesitate to let us know! ^.^

Along with what suikojay posted, here's another useful list of Cardcaptor Sakura DVDs via Amazon.com:

- Cardcaptor Sakura DVD (Amazon Listmania)

That list includes the movies as well. All those are legitimate releases.

FYI ... this...

- Cardcaptor Sakura: Episodes 1-70 (2003)

...is listed on Amazon.com, but it's a bootleg set. Avoid it if you can. You're better off buying used official releases. It's one of my all time favorite anime shows. Bought all the original releases when they came out back in the day. Great show.

Enjoy.

Cheers.

I'm reading the comments of Nagi no Asukara (episode 2), and I see people talking about "NTR".

What is NTR?

What is NTR?

From http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=NTR:

Defintion #1: "Japanese acronym for Netorare, used to define a genre of Eroge (Hentai Game), meaning "Cuckold". In short, the main protagonist's loved one(s) are taken or seduced away from him and the heroine might be willing or unwilling. This is to cause an emotion of deep jealousy on the reader."

Does anyone have a translation of the lyrics from "Que Sera Sera" by fhana, which was the ED song for The Eccentric Family?

Much love if you do/would be willing to share!

EDIT: Thanks, suikojay for the TV length lyrics! My love for full length lyrics is still up for grabs! <3

This might be it (you'll need to click on the English Lyrics button): http://kashigasa.com/uchouten-kazoku-endinged-que-sera-sera-lyrics.html ~ this is prolly just for the short, TV-sized ED song, though, and not the full ED song.

Actually, it retails for $87.98 ($187.98 for the Blu-ray). First run limited edition box sets are always more expensive. If you wait a year or so, a cheaper multi-pack will be available for probably half that cost.

Some of the features of the Limited Editions:

Blu-ray:

...a rigid box featuring art by Takashi Takeuchi, containing clear BD cases with double-sided wraps and a deluxe booklet. It will contain the series’ episodes (1-13) on 3 Blu-ray discs, a soundtrack CD and an exclusive DVD featuring staff and English cast interviews. The limited edition box sets will also include an exclusive WeiB Schwarz collectable card from Bushiroad (while supplies last).

DVD:

The DVD versions of "Fate/Zero" will be a standard edition that will contain the series’ episodes on 3 DVDs, a mini pin-up poster, O-sleeve and clear cases with 2-sided wrap. Both the Blu-ray and DVD versions will include English and Japanese voice options with English and Spanish subtitles.

"First adopters" usually pay more (except for Google products). I bought a Chobits Limited Edition box set years ago for about $170.00 USD. Which actually isn't much compared to the R2 stuff, but later, a cheaper R1 box of Chobits went for about 60 bucks.

The RightStuf price isn't too bad. You at least receive a discount over the retail price. Once Amazon has it, it might be 5-10 bucks cheaper than RightStuf. Might want to wait for Amazon to list it.

Good luck.

Cheers

Cat Soup (Nekojiru-So)?

Edit: I don't know what kind of drugs it took to imagine and animate that, but whatever they were, I want some...
