Hi, I've got a real puzzle, I've been obsessed about finding an anime either it was an OVA or a movie. I don't recall exactly what year it was when I did see it but it was certainly either late 90's or early 2000s and it aired on the Canadian sci-fi channel Space. What I remember was a guy with spikey blue hair and another with blondish hair and a girl with brownish hair. I remember seeing the girl in a glass coffin at some point and a conversation explaining she wasn't really dead and the end where the two boys kind of confront each other with the blue haired one flying off into the sun to be reborn then later we see the girl alive and well with a little boy who looks like the blue haired one and the blonde talking with some guys while they look at her. If I recall correclty, one man actually says to the blonde: You're really a superman!

If it helps any, I believe there was an ESP theme or the guys were able to fly... I'm not too sure.

Thanks for any hints!

So turns out my thread was in the wrong place.

Post for reference.

I recently started and finished watching Bleach, and I loved it etc but I noticed halfway through the last season that the opening music changed.

I don't mean that the show progressed to the next opening theme, I mean the music that was being used was replaced by a 'cleaner' and 'improved' rerecording of the song. Harukaze's the name of the track, and I massively preferred the original version of it. At first only the second half of the season had been updated, but now when I rewatch the earlier ones they've been replaced by the rerecording too.

Does anyone know where I can listen to the original version of the opening in good quality? I'm a sucker for opening themes and it's driving me nuts that one of my favs has just disappeared off the face of the Earth.

Sorry you all had to witness the ultimate First World complaint.

Renji_Tamaki kindly posted a link to the song on iTunes, but to precisely the version I'm trying to avoid. That version, along with the version that is currently present on the CR uploads of Bleach, replaced the original OP for the last season of Bleach.

A chance, yes. Anything confirmed, no.

I'm trying to locate an anime here on this site. I can't seem to find it anywhere, but I remember watching it here. Anyhow, I just remember the basics - boy gets crystal necklace from mother, he gets older and much taller, rides a small scooter, some things happen and he meets a drill shaped hair girl who he 'feels' the need to protect and becomes a superhero with a scarf and meets others who have the same abilities. Oh, and the drill shaped hair girl has a twin sister who's in a crystalised form sleep thing. Any ideas?

I did some googling and it seems like Sacred Seven is the anime you are talking about. The protagonist wears a scarf and another main character has a sister that was sleeping in a crystal. The same main character with a sister has drill shaped hair. The protagonist was also given a crystal from his mother. Sacred Seven was removed from crunchyroll some time ago, but the reviews are still on the site.

Anyone hear anything about the Actas/Hanabee Dub for Girls Und Panzer, I'm specifically curious to know if they've said anything about it being the non-butchered/as broadcasted version complete with the Katyusha and Polyushka Polye scenes. I got the Sentai dub for Christmas and their edits were more of a direct slap in the face than Crunchyroll's handling of it.

Question: Isn't the synopsis for the Love Song of a Certain Pilot anime wrong? It's using the synopsis for The Princess and the Pilot movie.

Wasn't sure where to ask this question so im asking it here.
Why doesn't CR also sub the opening song and credits of the shows? They have the whole show subbed, but why not the opening and closing?

It's related to music rights, because the same folks that have the rights to the anime don't have the full rights for the songs. Usually other artists own the rights to those OP and ED songs, and it's a whole other process to try to get permissions to sub them. I get the impression it's not very easy!

I know someone else on CR wrote something else up about this recently, in a more thorough fashion, but unfortunately I don't remember where I read it.

Really? Never expected that. I just figured since it was actually in the show itself they would be able to sub without problems. Never thought that it might be because of separate rights for the song and the show.

Thanks for that information.
And if anyone finds that article i'd love to read it to understand it better.

I was hoping to watch Clannad on here when I got the chance but apparently they have removed it? If that's correct I suppose I will look elsewhere but I could use some help understanding where to start. On CR Clannnad has multiple listing for it,(I dont think they even had them all to begin with not sure ) I'm not sure where exactly to start, are they all spinoffs following a certain plot or sub plot from the first "Clannad (Series)" In that case start with Clannad? Or would I be better off to start with one of the other choices and not be missing out on the previous? Or are they all good? If they are all seperate series/seasons O.O I dont know

Clannad (Series)
Clannad: Another World Tomoyo Chapter (Series)
Clannad: Another World Kyou Chapter (Series)
Clannad After Story (Series)
