I was hoping to watch Clannad on here when I got the chance but apparently they have removed it? If that's correct I suppose I will look elsewhere but I could use some help understanding where to start. On CR Clannnad has multiple listing for it,(I dont think they even had them all to begin with not sure ) I'm not sure where exactly to start, are they all spinoffs following a certain plot or sub plot from the first "Clannad (Series)" In that case start with Clannad? Or would I be better off to start with one of the other choices and not be missing out on the previous? Or are they all good? If they are all seperate series/seasons O.O I dont know

Clannad (Series)
Clannad: Another World Tomoyo Chapter (Series)
Clannad: Another World Kyou Chapter (Series)
Clannad After Story (Series)

The middle two are single episode ova style alternate endings/versions of Clannad as a series, while After Story follows the proper Nagisa route.

I believe Clannad can be found, in English and Japanese, on both Hulu+ and Netflix. It's also not to expensive if you wish to buy the series online or at a local retailer. I netted the entire Clannad for about $35 a while back, but it's a Sentai Filmworks release, so good luck finding it anywhere to buy. Start with Clannad and work you way to After Story, those middle sections should just be epsiodes...

if they're actual series nowadays, I'ma be shocked...and I probably won't watch them, but if I ever get the chance to without hassle...I might.

Thank You, I had a feeling those chapters were OVA's of some sort. Though CR does say they are series. It looks like a good anime and alot of heart but I was wanting to watch a few before considering purchasing it, though I've seen it highly recommended here on CR. Wonder why they removed it I guess just to make room for something new? Thanks for your help..

That's Sinon from Sword Art Online. Not sure why it was on the the book since she's part of Gun Gale Online.

Really? Never expected that. I just figured since it was actually in the show itself they would be able to sub without problems. Never thought that it might be because of separate rights for the song and the show.

Thanks for that information.
And if anyone finds that article i'd love to read it to understand it better.

Is there an anime you watched off of YouTube, which you'd like to be identified?

Can't find a cheap place to buy your Anime DVD's?

Well, here's the thread where you can ask any general questions regarding anime. The Anime HELP thread ~ similar to the General section HELP Thread, but specifically catered to answer your anime related questions. :)

I'll update the first post for any common responses to questions, so make sure to check the first post often. :)

[6/29/2013 --lorreen] this was previously a combined anime/manga thread. I just added a separate MANGA help thread over in the Manga forum. So Anime help goes here, Manga help goes there:

can someone please tell me what this is from, it's driving me crazy. At first glance I would say Date A Live, but then upon closer inspection there is no way it is Tohka.

Ever since they took down the US version site I can't find the simulcasts on Nico Nico at all. How do you find them? I wish it was straight forward like CR.

I hope someone can help me identify this anime:
One episode has the group arrive at an inn in the mountains on a bus. For some reason one guy is dressed as a girl? Later, the owners of the onsen turn the hot spring pool into an arena and the group need to defeat demons?

Sorry jumbled memory...

Does the group in this anime consist of a sexy blonde senior, a loli wearing a samurai-style kimono, a bubbly pink haired girl and a dull looking MC?

Was watching this anime show awhile back and can't remember the name of it and I want to finish watching it.

The show dealt with something called the Lord's head, a theater group who wanted revenge against someone, and a wander who's only goal was the destruction of the lords head. He was called the immortal assassin I think.

Anyone know the name of the anime where the cover photo is a small group of girls wearing sailor / naval uniforms.

Not sailor moon.

Wish I could remember the description so but all I remember is some girls wearing naval uniforms and a ship in the background.

It's driving me bonkers so any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can see an uncensored version of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012)? I'm really digging it, but I am seriously annoyed with how the edits are killing the fight scenes. Half the dang screen is blacked out to cover the gore to the point of where you can barely see what happened.
