thats one of my fav anime of all time... sadly it's nowhere near as popular as it should so it's a bit tricky to track down anymore.

Veoh has the first 20 episodes, which is before it starts to get really good. That's the best I can find for streaming.

Da-Anime has the entire series direct download in both ogm and realmedia format if you're patient enough to deal with megaupload.

..and here's a rather healthy torrent for the entire series in ogm format, though i suspect iif you dig around you can probably find a torrent for whatever format you prefer.

^ Inuyasha is licensed so it can't be uploaded here on CR. However, here is a link to a site where you can watch it:

@ Studz67: Thanks for the anime title. I'm watching episode one now and it looks promising.

r all torrents copyrights??
where can i download not lisned torrents???

All anime is copyrighted by the originating company in japan. This copyright applies all over the world, even in america.

Since japanese companies do not normally distribute anime outside of anime, foreign companies (such as ADV) will purchase the rights to distribute the anime outside of japan.

It varies from license to license as to just what all this entails. For example, Harmony Gold purchased the rights to distribute anything and everything Macross outside of japan (as in the rest of the world, not just the US), including stuff created after the initial license was made. Other times the license is just to distribute a particular series for a limited amount of time.

Torrent and streaming sites vary between their policy on providing licensed and unlicensed anime. Some, such as animesuki that lazybook mentioned, only have unlicensed series. Others, such as boxtorrents, are a bit more liberal.

Remember, any anime distributed by anyone other than a copyright or license holder is illegal. This includes fansubbers, even though they don't charge.

Up until now, it has seldom been enforced but I think those days are coming to an end. Geneon's crash was a bit of a wake up call to the industry and I believe they are going to start cracking down on fansubs, torrents, and streaming sites more than before. Recently, funimation shut down the fansub of romeo x juliet on behalf of gonzo even though they don't own the license - and they said they would continue to send cease and desist letters to anyone who fansubs a gonzo project.

To answer your question, try this website. I hear you can find anything on it.

http://www.google.com

**begin rant**

It's funny - we're being nailed by the very industry we created. Without fansubbing, there would be no anime in the US and these companies would never have existed. Also, a lot of people are drawn to anime in recent years since it is so easily and cheaply acquired now. Companies assume these are all potential paying customers, which based on the demographics of this site, couldn't be further from the truth. If all anime magically disappeared off the internet, you wouldn't start buying DVDs. You'd probably watch a helluva lot more cartoon network, but that'd be it. So they have a skewed unrealistic idea of how big their market is.

Are they losing money? I'd probably have to say yes, but not near as much as they think. I think the main reason that they're not making as much as they used to off of DVDs is because buyers are more educated about anime now than when it first started showing up on shelves in DVD form. People would buy quite liberally back then (I know, I was one of them) just because we were so happy we didn't have to put up with VHS anymore, let alone the old VHS fansub scene. Now it's pretty rare for any serious fan to buy a DVD without having already seen it's content long in advance - so they tend to focus strictly on favorites.

Companies are starting to get greedy. Fans are refusing to support the industry in any way, shape, or form. Geneon has already been KIA and most people are blaming fansubs and torrents. I think things may start getting ugly for the fansub community, but in the end consumers dictate the prices they pay and the internet will likely always provide an alternative.

I just checked my DVD copy (uncut japanese version), and Usagi is standing out in the hall by herself, just like the CR version.

Here is the same clip (at 4:13) of the dub version, and it's been edited a little but she is still in the hall by herself.

Since from what I recall of the series, Usagi stands in the hall quite a bit, I suspect you just got an episode mixed up... or another site has episode 1 mislabeled somehow.

If you could link the other episode online you're referring to, that may help explain it.

Any time you're curious about the details of a series (such as how many episodes it has) there are a handful of sites you can check. I'll show you using Zombie Loan as an example.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_loan

Wikipedia is a great place to go for quick basic information. I have personally found the vast majority of their anime related data to be quite accurate, though descriptions have a habit of being very fanboyish and biased. It's also becoming a good place to find episode summaries as well.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=7825

Anime News Network is pretty much the status quo for where to find accurate information about any show. It's not as easy to navigate as Wiki in my oppinion, but their information is very reliable and ubiased (aside from their terrible reviews). You can also find much more information on the production staff here as well.

There are many other online anime encyclopedias, but those are the two are I prefer for most information.

Hey i was wondering I know it's been a long time since i've posted but one of the reasons is because a while ago we lost alot of high quality titles due to licences. is there anything we can do about that? sorry if this question has been asked already.
