Is there an anime you watched off of YouTube, which you'd like to be identified?
Can't find a cheap place to buy your Anime DVD's? Well, here's the thread where you can ask any general questions regarding anime. The Anime HELP thread ~ similar to the General section HELP Thread, but specifically catered to answer your anime related questions. :) I'll update the first post for any common responses to questions, so make sure to check the first post often. :) ******************************************************************************************************************** Helpful Threads: DVD Online Anime Stores http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=3785 ~ It doesn't have much information at the moment, but it contains some sites where you can purchase anime DVDs. |

uhmmm... hi ¬_¬;; I was wondering if... uhm... (if this is the appropriate place to ask) ... someone could help me with the use of torrents because there's this place where I wanna download some yotsubato scans but I need a torrent reader. And my hard drive space is really limited... |

I haven't heard of the term torrent reader yet, but if you'd like to know how downloading torrents works, read the first page of this thread, me and edsamac and jahmeze kind of described it there

@ Lazybook: I'll add it in a bit. :)
@ nosuchname: you can refer to the following link to learn more about torrents: Downloading torrents http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=2872 Basically, you need a program that downloads the torrents, because the torrent files you download from a site only contain information on the torrent which a program uses to transfer information. I suggest utorrent, but there are a couple others. As with your disk space, you are aware that regardless of whether or not it's a direct download or torrent, it will still take a relatively large amount of space in your computer. |

thanks everyone for the advice
but I've heard some interesting stuff about utorrent (hopefully it's just rumors or trolling)... but I heard on a certain website that utorrent gives information to antipiracy groups or something like that... and on that same thread I heard azureus is quite large (when I said I had a major hard drive problem, I meant it... only 108 MB of free space left o_O) but thank you, ahojcookie, edsamac, and Lazybook for your advice perhaps when I get a new hard drive or my own computer I'll install one after more research. |

^Only 108 MB? That's bad, you really need to delete some stuff off your hard drive, it's not good for your PC either. If there's nothing you can delete, get an external hard drive or burn some large files onto a CD, so you can get it off your hard drive.

Start deleting some shit. Put things onto CDs/DVDs. |

I do delete tons of stuff that I don't have use for
the only problem is that I have to share this comp with my dad and I'm not sure which programs I should delete and even if I did manage to get rid of all the stuff I didn't want, this hard drive's only 10 GB I'm too poor to afford a decent external hd and plus the money I do have... I'm saving for someone special :3 ... before this thread turns into a shitstorm I just have to say... I'm sorry for hijacking this thread and I'll try not to have anymore problems ^_^;; I dunno ¬_¬;;... I just feel wierd being the only one that need help... |

^ you are soo insecure...
Loosen up, you're not hijacking the thread, and we're glad to answer your questions, right gus? (about your HD... that's just so sad... it's like it came from the devonian period... 10GB? Some external HDs aren't that expensive. Look for the ones that need an external powerpack, because they are much cheaper than portable ones. My 250GB external HD cost me a little over $100. ) |

If you only have 108 mb on your hard drive, I wouldn't even think about using torrents. You don't have enough space to download anything it seems. Before you do anything I would first try to improve your computer's performance. Try defragmenting your computer and that may be able to fix somethings, but your best bet is to get an external HD like everyone else said. If not CDs are your best bet.

erm... again... thanks for everyone's help ^_^;;
unfortunately for me... I leave all the tech stuffs to my dad... so if I try to do any of those things he'll get suspicious and think that I'm trying to use the torrent reader to download "questionable" stuff ¬_¬;;...⌐_⌐;;.... which I prolly will ^_^;; *COUGH marimite doujins COUGH* ¯\(°3°)/¯ |
