The anime that i'm trying to remember was like a spirit detective theme going on.
The world is set as a fantasy and the main character was like a spirit police in training or something like that. His power was basically he had this metal wand that looked like a pointer and he could use magic like force push n stuff like that. He evenually gets partners that he fought against in the show.

one of them was this quiet redheaded guy that would float on top of two big metal (or stone) rings and two huge metal bracelets that he could shoot and control.

the other guy i remember was a loudmouthed (funny) guy that had huge black bat wings and thats what i can remember.

i do remember he was betrayed by the rganization at the end of the series, also that one of the final guys they fight has these huge, long, shoulder pds with metal spheres along it that shoot out and attack the enemies. He also has like 100 other spheares that are hidden in a compartment on his back that is like his ultimate move.

I guess this is going to be a pretty vague question but I have a bet ongoing with a friend to see if I can find out what she's being for Animazement. All I know from her description that its a female character that wears a pink skirt and is in a band or orchestra of some sort. Furthermore, said band "debuted" this past January. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd much appreciate, thanks!

hello there! long time member, first (actually not anymore, I even got reported for using the wrong section xD) time poster!

anyway! I was wondering if anyone actually likes the background music anime's usually have (silly question, I know!)
that's because well, I've found this one song I'm especially in love with but I can't find it anywhere, no matter what I try (not talking about OP/ED of course!)

so, as the title says, the show playing that particular music is "SKET Dance"!

For those who are still wondering which is the song I'm talking about: you can find it on the very beginning of the anime itself (0:00 of ep1), it's played throughout many episodes (almost any time they're doing something cool that music starts and makes whatever they're up to simply...amazing...at least to me that is!) and, lastly, you can hear a "long version" of it in the last episode which came out this week (ep 54 @ 17:48)

so uhm, does anyone happen to know the song or, by chance, is willing to help me and find its title?

I'd appreciate any help you guys could give me :)

It may or may not be here but this list might help you, http://vgmdb.net/album/31327 It might be too old to be on it, but you said it was in episode 1 so it could be there. You might be able to find each song by just putting the song name and sket dance into youtube. I haven't watched the show, so I really know nothing about it, just trying to help.
