It was about a girl with red eyes who was half demon. She fought other demons together with some other guys and she used a big ass sword. It's not Blood + btw...

The description that you gave is too broad(too generic) to narrow down. Can you spare me some more details, some unique trait on that anime that stood out from the rest? Or at least the name of the TV station that you are watching 10 years ago.

More details would be good, anything like hair color or what sort of setting(modern day vs. fantasy land). It's about a guy in the country who has to live with a girl from the city, whilst trying to avoid any misunderstandings from the girl he likes. I only read the first chapter once, I found it interesting, but quickly forgot the title. I think there's an anime adaptation for it already. In addition to the plot. The girl decided to study in the countryside for some reason, and the boy's dad was a close friend of the girl's dad. The boy's reception to the girl was somewhat unpleasant.

This manga you speak of sounds like Kimi no Iru Machi / A Town Where You Live. There's a two-part OVA of it but no anime.

You may have provided me with the best lead yet; this is the first suggestion that I've never tried/seen before, and I'm currently looking through it to try to find the scene in question. Once again, any help on the matter is appreciated. If this isn't it, I would love to hear more suggestions to broaden the scope of my search. This summer means I've been looking for a full year now.
