Can someone please help me find an anime I recall watching parts of quite a while back but remember little about? The key thing I remember is that the main character was a young woman and her partner, whose job was to deliver the last words, or thoughts of those who had died to the living..

No, the story in the movies are completely self contained and standalone. In fact, they are so well made that they are perfectly enjoyable even without seeing the original TV show. However, if you have not seen the TV show and want a better sense of the characters the OVAs would be a quick way to do that.

hello, i need help finding an anime i watched when i was a lil kid. From what i can remember the anime was mature and very serious in nature. the cast consisted of a special task force that dealt with the supernatural. one of the member was a girl who could use fire. all the members were adults and the art was realistic (nothing moe about it). the team was called something like ICPJ or sumthin like that. also, they all wore black. I really wanna find this movie but i really cant remember anything else. PLEASE HELP!!

Sounds kinda like Witch Hunter Robin. Robin (the main character girl in the middle of the pic below) had pyrokinetic abilities and was part of the STN-J. And I think they generally had dark outfits, and there was certainly nothing moe about them, lol, from what I remember. I faintly remember this show from the early 2000s, but it was a good one, for sure!

Edit:

The last Japanese BD will be released on February 26, so at least six months after that is a good starting point.
