The Day That All Was Still

I allways have, and allways will,
Remember the day that all was still.
The trees begain to shrivel and crack,
There once pink blossoms, smoldering black.
The emerald fields on which I'd lay,
Scattered with ashes of death and decay.
My daughter who yesterday giggled with glee,
Now silenced forever and eternity.

I remember the dark and acid smoke,
That made me gag, made me choke.
I remember the fiery scarlet flower,
That crushed Hiroshima with her power.
I remember the war, I remember the cost.
The beautiful daughter that I lost.
I allways have and allways will,
Remember the day that she went still.

I love how strong the mood was in this poem. It is a very ironic tone, coming from the blue. I like it, I thought that you put time into it and deserve a pat on the back! *pats back* congratz!
