Well half the movie was based on how the two meeting each other & falling in love, the other half was about how the ship was sinking. I thought it was a great movie though, well done & played out as it would have been. The whole ship sinking was really sad & it made me cry. :[

u know...at the end of the movie its kinda funny and sad at the sad time..
maybe its just me, cuz at the end thegirl said she would let go of jack's hand and rite after she said that she just let go...like wth? lol

The thing that made it a smash for it's time was that it was a tragic love story that allowed people who were clueless as to the impact the titanic going down had on people during the early 1900's, to actually connect with it.
Suddenly, there was a rash of titanic survivors being interviewed and being applauded for their stories....to share their tragedy with others to allow them, hell whatever solice it gave them.
Honestly, I was in junior high when it came out, I actually went to the theatre with a friend of mine to watch it because the titanic's history. ....all in all, it did what it was supposed to, and while I liked it...you will never get me to sit through it again.

Romantic. Tearjerker. I love it.
It's a total classic. I freaking love that movie. .....yum. Leo is so hot, haha.
Of course, there are much much better movies out there, but I still love this movie. Its great, and I love re-watching it when it comes on a random TV channel.
=] Who cares if the movie is long? It's good, isn't it ?
