Umm... It's a good way to show how the tragedy took place. Otherwise, I think it was a good lovey dovey story.

The thing that made it a smash for it's time was that it was a tragic love story that allowed people who were clueless as to the impact the titanic going down had on people during the early 1900's, to actually connect with it.

Suddenly, there was a rash of titanic survivors being interviewed and being applauded for their stories....to share their tragedy with others to allow them, hell whatever solice it gave them.

Honestly, I was in junior high when it came out, I actually went to the theatre with a friend of mine to watch it because the titanic's history. ....all in all, it did what it was supposed to, and while I liked it...you will never get me to sit through it again.

if you're 25... you should have seen this during your sophomore year in high school since it came out in late 1997.

that has to be one of the most ignorant things i have seen posted here in a very long time.

it's funny how people are acting like this is an ancient relic of the past... it's not even 10 years old yet.

As usual we speak of the remnants of a trash movie. For once place some inspiring historical specs in to the mix. How bout conversing about the flaws the Titanic and its sister Britannic had. It was discovered that the ships fate was inevitable. The designers knew its weaknesses thats why they tried to flee the country.... A little to vague but thats as much your getting out of me.

Can we for once not talk about the damn Movie and talk about the speculations and once consider anomalies of the separation of stern and bow..
