i would most definitely prefer happy endings. i take animes stories too seriously, so if someone ends up dying in the end and doesn't get reunited with their lover, i'd feel like crap and won't be able to sleep well for days. i'll just keep on feeling sorry for whoever that died and whoever that had to suffer........

i did i dont really care because it would be very annoying if all the animes ended up with a happy ending. and if all the animes ended with a sad ending(that would b depressing ==') so i lyk a mixture but sometimes it gets to far from reality

sad one,the more people die the better

Just kidding, well i dont like those typical ending where everyone lives happily ever after.it's cliche, and it's boring

anything other than that is fine

A realistic ending which shall complete the series in a satisfying way no cliffhangers unless there's a following season and no unsolved mysteries.
I don't like when the anime differs from the manga like claymore and elfen lied.. Also the realism to the ending depends on the anime of course but nothing *over the edge*. The ending shall also make you remember the anime and not an ending like Love Hina though the manga was good but the anime was pure * woho did I finish it?! * <- my opinion

agreed... however i would like an ending that suits its plot. i mean if the main character does not deserve a good ending, then let him die and suffer tragic fate... who cares, some plots are really good that way.
