I think it is Ju-on and one missed call. i watch both of them late at night and that added some of the scared factor in it  . and how the ghosts looked in both movies.

shutter, art of the devil 2, the ring erm not sure what number it was but that scene when the girl crawling up the well chasing the woman and the boy is tense as hell... but i miss 90's hk horrors miss lam ching ying too

None have really scared me to much many are just kind of sad or creepy but I love to watch them. Maybe I would say Ju-on was the scariest if I had to pick one...
