i dont like any of the pro drifters.

i prefer to watch normal people in normal / slightly modified cars have a go at it .

Watching people who have gynormous budgets and pratice 12 hours a day to get the track down like clock work gets borring and stale imo. like watchin nascar same thing over and over agian : P

not sure if you drift or not but its different for someone who does it.
you can see different techniques in use.
see different choices in line.
different styles.
and how things differ from car to car (like ae86's tend to initiate their drift late but larger cars can do it way early)
i like it, formula d drivers aren't as good as D1GP drivers but still entertaining.

but yeah, hopefully going to the FD event in vegas this year.

Ah, Formula D. Good stuff. D1GP is always fun too.

I had Media Access to Formula D, but I couldn't get up there (car was killed couple months before hand).

Hoping to make it up to Washington in time for Round 5 in Monroe next season, hang out with some of the Drifters I know.

As far as Formula D drivers not being as good as D1GP drivers, that's not true.

D1GP Drivers go to FD all the time, and vice versa. For instance, Taka Aono was a great D1GP drifter, but he moved to Formula D and we haven't heard anything about him. Didn't even place in the top 10 if I remember right.

Also, this coming season should be much interesting, there's a lot more Grassroots drivers going into this season full blast. Friend of mine is doing so too, I think (as long as he doesn't get nervous) he should do well for a Rookie.

when you look at the in car camera all you see formula d drivers do is use their hydro ebrakes all the fucking time. unlike d1gp, d1sl, and drift muscle they actually use technical ways or initiating for instance flick, feint, or just going balls out and lift.
