omg staring is probably one of the things that annoy me the most! It's not that I have anything on my face or body to be stared at, but I just don't like it when someone stares at me. I hated it so much that I barely even look at people now. When I walk I tend to look at people's neck or something, just never the face. XD

That one unfortunate thing young woman have to put up with. you can always dress down not to draw to much attention but your still growing and your body changing being self conchs is normal. What not normal is avoiding people, and making eye contact is important avoidance will lead to even more problems down the road. Not making eye contact leads to odd behavior that people pick up on and that's a nightmare it will become a self feeding problem.

if someone is staring at me, I stare back until they look away. and I stare to someone because for me, it's an act to irritate someone without touching or talking to them.

there's nothing wrong if they stared on you, unless they have that 'eww' face then that means there's something wrong with how you look [like an open zipper, or maybe you have grain of rice at ur face]

I think albinism is pretty special.
When I was in pre-school I had a friend who was albino. I thought he was very strange at first because he was all white and pale. Also, he stayed indoors or in the shade a lot, but we he was a great card player and friendly we made friends quickly.

I think it's natural to be curious. Like most creatures, humans process things by sight and we like to examine things that we don't know or don't come into contact with often. Though, I do think excessively staring is rude.
If someone stares at me to the point of discomfort I usually address them politely. I don't mind people just staring casually.

After a while, you become better at differentiating the "bed-room eyes" stare and the "Wtf is this..." stare.

Girls who try too hard usually end up getting the attention they want (although in an awkward way). People don't intend to stand there and stare at someone. They don't want to be bluntly obvious to the person.

I don't feel as if I'm being stared at. But being glanced at and looked at isn't that big of a deal. Even when shopping with friends or family, they tell me afterwards that she or they kept looking at me. Even moms...I don't know and I don't want to make a big deal out of it. Even girls with their boyfriend sometimes react a bit strangely. I'm short so being classified as "hot" isn't really an option unless I'm around people younger than me. So cute is what most people tend to lean towards. Whenever I'm out ordering and there's a female serving me, they always give me more than what I ask for and other services. I always make sure I give my thanks and smile

I know people are jealous because everytime I make a little mistake they go over the top and take the opportunity to try and put me down unpleasantly and putting on a real ugly face. It makes the situation feel awkward, but it's nothing I should be mad over. I like everybody and hate everybody for different reasons. Good friends are bound to fight each other

Lots of kids love to stare, I like to stare back but they won't look away as a regular person would XD

Me and my dad would get stared a lot especially at restaurants from the waiters. My dad is white and I'm tanned skinned and I don't look much like him. I remember once I was crying at the doctors and the nurse asked my dad to walk out and she asked if I was getting abused at home o______o that was weird...

But there are times where I love getting attention -cough- on my birthday, I dressed up in a cat maid outfit ^o^ <33 so cute! Everyone was looking at me and remembered me from that day on XDD

Well, as most of you know (or should know), I'm an albino ( basically a form of mutant) born of a black family, meaning, my skin compexion and hair or very white and fair. Earlier on in the week, I went to a water park with my family to celebrate my younger sister's birthday

Normally, I would keep on a T-shirt, to help protect my delicate skin, but there were times I had to lose the shirt, in those events I couldn't help but notice the mass amount of looks I was getting, and I quickly realized I was the whitest person around, the obese, the obvious gays, even "the pasty brigade", nerds who barely see sunlight, all of these people had at least stolen a glance at me (especially while with my family), there were even a number of rude comments. Those pissed me off something fierce, especially when someone called me a polar bear

Of course, I'm rather used to this since it's gone on literally since the day I was born, my question is.......

Have you ever been stared at?
If so, why would you be stared at?
What or your thoughts on staring?
Why do you think people stare?
Tell why YOU would stare?

I think if someone was staring at me freakishly, then I would be scared.
I don't like... it... when people stare at me rudely, judging me according to my appearance.
I think people stare because something caught their eye - either negative or positive.
And I stare when I'm observing someone's aura, or when I really like that someone and I want to remember everything on them... So that when I feel down, I can remember. And be happy? o.o

Do not be ashamed of who you are, what you are, and what you look like. Do not let mere insults take you down. To the polar bear comment, you should have said, "I'm a sexy polar bear" and rub your nipples at them, smiling. When you stay happy, they will shut their mouths. You give them more power to control you when you give in to their silly remarks.

I have almost always been stared at. I am used to the attention because I used to be a model. I may not be Hollywood gorgeous but I am gorgeous. I let people stare because staring is harmless. It is merely eye contact and not a physical touch.

I only stare when someone or something has caught my attention otherwise I have been raised by a strict family that staring for no reason is disrespectful.

Have you ever been stared at?
Yes.

If so, why would you be stared at?
I was wearing false lashes in a very .. um... intellectual class

What or your thoughts on staring?
Either can be good or bad. Boys stare: good; Girls: bad.

Why do you think people stare?
They either hate you, want to make fun of you, or love you so much they can't take their eyes off you.

Tell why YOU would stare?
I hate that person, I want to murder that person, or I fking love you so much I want to make sure you're not staring at other girls.

I often don't notice if anyone is. Too busy doing something instead of looking around a room full of uglies.

I've been stared at... I've just never realized it because some times I'm oblivious to the world. Or rather an "air-head" sometimes. xD

I don't stare at other people, though, even if they are different looking, because every ones different. I'm not rude. Sure, I glance at them, but I glance at everybody. That sounds creepy, but, its just a glance, and no more.

There are times when I space out on somebody and stare at them... And when I come too, I shake my head, and apologize to them.
