my name's doug, most people call me "d". currently I'm a student at Cornish College of Arts, Seattle WA; Majoring in Journalism, Minoring in Philosophy. I like to do photography and a bunch of other stuff (check my profile if you really want to know, I don't feel like typing things out, een though it's not a lot). I am an avid protester for just about anything, although i don't think the current administration is a terrorist organization (sorry there YuYeven), I'd like to reffer to them as greedy-oil-hungry-bastards, but that's just my opinion. I've been with my girlfriend now for a new record of 26 days, I mean um... 3 months, yeah...

Eh what the heck. My name is Pete. I am currently a college student, studying nursing and hoping to become a doctor one day (that may actually change, now that I have an interest in philosophy). I like to play video games especially on the PS3 yeah! As for computer games, just waiting out for the next Star Craft. I hang out with a bunch of people and we go airsofting, paintball, and a bunch of other stuff from building potato guns, to experimenting with computers and sound equipment.

Sorry, but I am extremely cautious about information online (besides, being anonymous is more fun,) so I won't give you much personal information. I will tell you that I live in New England, but that's pretty much it.

I enjoy an anime that makes you think. If you know of any, just recommend it to me at any time.

When writing on the forums, I refuse to give in to bad grammar and spelling (although I am by no means perfect at either.) I do use the faces though. (look, it's a ninja! )

I am a bit confrontational, and might try to make an opponent out of people with no such intentions. This is because I strongly believe that the more humans discuss the world with others, the wiser all of the participants become. This is partially why I love playing devil's advocate. When a conversation turns one-sided, it just makes me more suspicious of the validity of the winning side's point. As a thought experiment, let's compare religious people and Atheists. Both sides are convinced that the other is wrong, and neither has completely destroyed the other yet. As an Athiest, I believe that the Christians are unfortunately afflicted with a delusion brought about by wishful thinking, but I am still disturbed by the fact that even my own beliefs are not immune to what I will now dub: "The Matrix Effect." I have no way of proving that the most basic grounds that I base my opinions on are actually real. Maybe I am the delusional one. Can I prove that I'm not? It isn't neccesary to answer these questions (they are rhetorical after all) It is the journey that matters, not the goal.

I don't read manga much, but I have nothing against it.

I am an action fanatic. It's not that I like action shows per-se, I just love action scenes! Samurai Champloo and Eureka 7 gave me goosebumps, and I sacrifice sheep to Monty Oum every Sunday.
