Just a question -- are thin wrists a sign that someone has been anorexic in the past?

I'm a recovering anorexic and though I've gained some of the weight back, my wrists and hands are still extremely thin and very bony. I was watching a show -- I think it was the Steve Wilkos Show -- and there was a woman who'd previously been anorexic on it. She was then pretty curvy, but her arms were still very skinny. So I'm just wondering if there's some sort of connection.

BTW -- Don't worry about me and the anorexia thing. I've decided to try for a more curvy look.

It might. But not necessarily. My sister has really thin wrists. But she's healthy and not crazy thin.

Sheesh... i'm new at this but i'll give it a go.

Ok. Theres this girl right? We like to argue with each other about random things, anything that comes to mind at the particular time. (at least i liked it). Well, through this i fell for her (there more to it though). But the problem is that i think she already has a boy friend though i'm not 100% sure.

But now things have gotten weird, because when i look her way, its like shes trying to avoid eye contact with me.

I'm confused and i dont know what to do, but i plan on telling her about my feelings soon when the opportunity comes by.

F.Y.I : shes my first real crush, and i've never had a girlfriend either.

Whoop, that felt good letting all this out on the web lol

Easy. Swallow your anxieties and confess.
But first you need to as her if she got a boyfriend.
You never had an experience in this stuff so you might not know that once you show that you're 100% hooked, there's nothing exciting about you anymore, so just chill. Don't scare her away.

Your metabolism slowed down then?? Image That's good.

You know, now I've got this sort of grudge held against the media for making many people think thinner is better. =_= And yeah, I say 'MAKING.' Our opinions are based on what we see and what we hear.

I was 113 pounds at 5 ft 7 and it got so bad (though Idk, maybe that doesn't seem so thin here,) teachers decided to call my mom. Had dizzy spells in the shower. It's okay if you're naturally thin but people seem to get praised for being skinny and I think it should be the other way around. Not saying people should admire obese people but only so many people have fast metabolisms. I think real women have curves, and those are the people who should get any sort of admiration concerning body types.

That's good. So if you don't mind I ask, why where you anorexic? (was it from your diet because of the perspective of the media orr...)
When I was younger, (before teen), I was chubby. I actually weight LESS now than 4 years ago O_O.

It was actually from me wanting to be as thin as these Asian girls you see in the dramas, but that was stupid because there are factors.

It's bro love. Doesn't mean that they're gay. Could be bi...buttttt. Most likely they just liking hanging out together. And what's so wrong about guys sleeping over at each other's place? If girls can hang out and sleepover, why can't guys?

I mean you can ASK him if he's gay or bi. But most likely they just have a really good bro relationship.

I agree. If you think your boyfriend is homo-bi-ish, then have him take a test. Doctors have one ready for confused patients. Image
