Hi ya.

You might receive quicker help if you send a private message to a Mod or Admin. You can find them here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/staff.

Or maybe re-post your question in the Support forum: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumcategory-391022/site-support-minor-questions for better visibility. Sometimes technical questions get buried in this thread.

Hope that helps.

It's always blank! Even if I search a topic I KNOW exists!

Hi ya.

I know what you mean. That happens to me a lot. The forum Search function is not very good and kind of quirky. Here's a trick that will help a little bit, but doesn't exactly solve the problem.

- When you search for something in the forum and it spits back the results without any results for Forum Topics, try running the same search again by clicking on the orange and white magnifying glass (right next to where you keyword is). For example:

I searched on the word "habits". The "Forum Topic Results" area (red box) came up blank the first time I searched. I did the same search again, and it came up with three Topics.

Unfortunately, this trick doesn't always work, and sometimes the forum search doesn't see a topic you're searching for even if it's on the front page. So, this kind of works and kind of doesn't.

Another thing you can do is search Google. Using the example above, I searched Google using this string:

"habits" site:crunchyroll.com

Keyword in quotes and then designated the site as Crunchyroll. That gave me pretty good results, but again, it's not perfect. FYI, the forum search has been broken for awhile and is on the list to be fixed, so it's not just you. All of us struggle with the forum search.

Also, if you're looking for your own posts & topics on Crunchyroll , see this:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-842595/where-do-i-find-my-own-topicsthreads#46018905

Hope some of that helped. Have a great day.

Yeah! You helped!

I use the web application of crunchyroll(Web version from a mobile device).

The reason why is just Crunchyroll by design, I used another browser on the device, one with full HTML and it worked!

Thanks!

Hey while today isn't the first day on crunchyroll for me, I'm still a new user of this website. I would like to suggest the anime "Di Gi Charat Nyo!" but I know I have to be a Premium Member to suggest in the forum. Thing is, I don't trust myself getting a Premium Member because I don't have a credit card and I'm afraid to ask my mother or brother for their credit card numbers. So, I was thinking of asking a Premium Member to see if they can suggest it but I don't want to be annoying. What should I do?

Dang it, I failed with that last help request.
I meant to ask for kanji for love, oneness and divinity.

Oh well I hope this time I remembered to ask right thing.

One way to find these might be to go through Google Image Search. For example: an image search on "kanji for love" gives you this:

You may find, however, that some English terms, such as "oneness", don't translate exactly into other languages. They may have concepts of "oneness", but not an exact match. Also, "love" can be expressed in many ways. You may find Kanji that represents many types of love.

There are many "English to Kanji" dictionaries online that you can reference. There are also people in the CR community that know the Japanese language rather well. If you bump into any of them, you might be able to pick their brains a bit as well.

Hope some of that helps. Good luck.

Definitely recommend getting someone who knows the language well to assist. There's a running joke in Space Brothers where an American wears t-shirts he's created with kanji on them--but what he thinks they mean based on an overly simple translation, and what they actually mean is hilariously different. You definitely wouldn't want to do that with a tattoo! (I feel like I saw the original request but I can't find it now, so maybe I'm misremembering what this is for, though.)

Sigh... I had an excusting week, but I have 2 papers do tommorow night. I barely had time to work on them due to my job eating out most of my schedule. I have a class that runs from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm tommorow (Its a lab sigh that meets 1 a month sigh <-<;; )

Here's what I need help with...

Should I go to bed now and wake up in 4 hours and work or ... do I work now and go to bed later after and risk not waking up on time?

This kind of decision has always plagued me in college, so I would like you guys honest advice.

P.S. Every semester in college I seem to at least have 1 week like this I have found... so I was wondering what your guys advice would honsetly be.

So basically ran into my ex on a night out and when I saw him dancing with this girl I got upset, 2nd time I was polite gave him a hug asked how he was, he kind of shrugged and said he was fine. The whole situation was awkward for me tho so I said good for you and went back to dancing with my friends, but I could feel his eyes on me and he stood for a few minutes just kind of watching me, like he wanted to say something but by the time I looked back he'd gone. Now I know being with him made me happy but it also made me very unhappy, we were long distance so it was hard, he made promises he could never keep and I just forgave him again, and again till he dumped me. I was at this point very unhappy with our relationship but I liked him so much at the time, I didn't want to even consider dumping him. In a way him ending it was a good thing and we parted on good terms. It was my first experience liking a guy who also liked me back so I'm bound to still hold him in a high place in my heart, but it's been a long time now, and even after dating someone els (who I realise now was a rebound) I still think of him a lot. So what I'm saying is will I ever be able to forget him? Can we ever truly be friends ? If I see him out again should I just avoid him? I know I'm going to be running into him a lot when he's come back from uni in the summer, and I want to know the best way to deal with this.. Help?
