Hahahahahahaha. . .No, the customer is NOT always right. I observed and experienced too many to say that sometimes customers of the wrong kind are just annoying and stupid. For example, I was at Carl's Jr with my fiance and these two girls (even though they are older than I am, but the way they acted was more like a child) complained about the soda not tasting "right." Remember there are two soda machines, they could have gone to the other one. Anyways, they told the manager and he tasted it and said it was fine, but of ocurse they still complained. So, he went to get them a soda that was unopened, poured it in their cup and gave it to them. The girls drank the soda, but then threw it away in the trash. I knew they were just messing with him because they started to snicker. I just gave them a dirty look when they sat down and ignored them. That is just one example, but as I said early, not all customers are dicks like that, but they are a few that makes you want to strangle them for being a-holes. It is people like them that makes other not want to give a damn about anyone else.

And to answer your question. It is hard to tell. I wasn't there to really judge it because it is not detail enough for me to give a proper answer.

they arent always right and they arent always wrong - but business needs their money in order to survive, hence the bias during customer relations etc. the customer can just never shop with you again, and if enough people do that then your business will go under. sometimes you have to treat a wrong customer like women should treat men - as THOUGH they are right - that way you can still take their money

Costumers? You mean Customers.
No they're not always right. Most of the time they are fucking wrong. I worked as a shop assistant and a customer asked me where biscuits (cookies) were. I told them which aisle they were in. They said "I've been there, I want the ones in the bags!". I told them they were in the same aisle. They wanted to see my supervisor, she backed me up, and the customer ended up looking like a twat for getting angry and arguing with me when I was right.

b.s. most customers are idiots. and are usually unessaceraly rude even when you try to be nice.

eg if a checkout is malfunctioning, or a price comes up wrong, it's not your fault but the customer will get all arsey at you.

one time i rang up this woman's shopping, and when she saw the total she goes ' i don't agree with that.' and i had to go through the list with her and show i hadn't double scanned and all the offers had come off. and even then she still says ' i don't agree it should be £10. i want to see the manager.' so i had to call my boss over and everything and she still had to pay the original price, but she wasted both our freaking time.

i've had to deal with more rude customers than nice ones. i know that they are spending their money in the store, but that doesn't entitle them to treat me or anyone else like shit for no reason.

"customers are always right" is the motto for people who want to keep their business. By the way aren't we all customers at one point or another? Customers aren't rude and annoying because they are customers, they are rude and annoying because they are people and we would be rude and annoying back if it wasn't for their money.

No, they aren't. People can be rude, nasty, and just downright stupid sometimes and want to blame anything and everything but the obvious answer.
