China. Cause America is afraid of China.

Then again... america is afraid of north korea...

scratch china, north korea ftw!

Why would it be china just because America is afraid of it dumbass? Their population is growing too fast their economy is in the midst of falling. North Korea is already a 3rd world country, well not entirly, but im well aware that most of the population is poor.

Actually, China's starting to get itself a pretty firm foothold. You should watch them, man. Their military is getting really strong, really fast. Their gaining economical grounds that will make them a further fright. Of course, if they don’t actually use this new military boost here pretty quick then their resources are going to evaporate into sand. The rest of what you said was pretty true...

i believe chinese work manufactures signed a deal with Chrysler to start producing chinese made cars under the brand name cherry. Although its just a start, will people really buy a car made in china is the big question? and can the manufactures get there cars to the standard's needed. This is a step to the future for the chinese.

America is afraid of China. That is a fact. Why do you think they are broadcasting the chinese rise to power. And why do you think a lot of investors are going to China. They see there is a future.

America doesn't want to piss off china. They depend on it for goods. I think China is only second compared to Canada in import/export. I'm not too sure on that one.

I was joking on the north korea bit... internet sarcasim is hard to tell.

China's growth is almost unhealthy but i think it is slowing down. Either way. If China's military gets any stronger, America might even warn China because they don't want a potiental threat.

tbh i dont think america is afraid, its just that the dont wan't to lose foreign investors. Fact is china and america worked together cause china has bought american goverment bonds and america also expands itself in china and america has pressured china to open up there market more which allows alot of foreign trading. America will be a powerful country for along time and it will take china some time atleast 30 years till it reaches american standards if even that.

America can always go to another country in ur statues who is willing to pay for out and do the same business. Chinese are smart but Americans still have the upper hand seeing as they are still years ahead in nano technology.

actually Chinese made stuff is often ALOT better than American made crap. The quality of Chinese crap is improving.

If you do take out china, America just lost a leg in its trades.

You can tell America is afraid just by listening to the news. How the commy bashing and the negative views of China and the fact China is actually IN the news a lot more.

Its the biggest threat to the States right now. Thats why the US haven't invaded North Korea already and its another reason the US don't side with taiwan anymore.

Actually China’s growth is not slowing. At least not in population and military. In 2000 they increased martial expenditures by just under 20%, and this year they increased it by 17% more.

Also, America doesn’t want to tick of Sweden either. Doesn’t mean we’re afraid of them. Of course we don’t want to fight China because it would hurt us, but we -would- win. America is stronger in economics, military (diffidently military! Nobody in the world spends as much money on military as we do. Which is interesting because we only spend about 4-5% of our GDP on the military, compared to…oh say Saudi Arabia’s 10%) and politics far mightier than China. We’re more stable, have more resources, and a mass of mighty allies. Australia seems to follow us blindly, and we have a love-hate relation with England. (Our citizens have a tendency to bash each other, but our governments work together pretty well. They’d work together even beet if we blew up the UN! :p)

We are not afraid of China. It’s a fact. Get yours straight. Mind you, we don’t want to fight them, but there is no doubt in our officials and government that we can take China. Simple because we’re stronger than them.

Rather people like it or not, and trust me they don’t, America -is- the strongest right now. How long that will last, mind you, I cannot say. Probably not too long though. Eventually somebody is bound to overcome us, but it’s going to be somebody who’s on our tail as it is.

What you must remember though is that America is a relatively young nation. Other nations have been using up their resources on mass scale for thousands of years. China, is a good example. Very old. America, on the other hand, is only a few hundred years old.

The problem is that we consume our resources faster than anyone else too. It’s like a long distance run. America is that guy you always see who breaks out into a mad dash, gets ahead of everyone, stays there for about half the race, and then falls behind and comes in like…fifth…unless, of course, he comes in dead last. :P
