Erm... I'll pretend I didn't read the earlier posts..

Love over belief, huh? Such a trivial question.. I'd go for love. Undoubtedly.

I think it would be very dumb if you decided to date someone who didn't take your religion seriously. I wouldn't put myself in the position to chose in the first place. The key is to find someone who respects or doesn't repect your religion or non religion.

My brother was dating a religious girl and my family is non-religious. It did not work very well because they basically well, hated my brother and looked down on my family. They had a AIM relationship for a month than it ended. I doubt their is "love" in this world. So many families end up in divorce sadly.

I wouldn't be surprised. Dating someone who doesn't share your beliefs is play stupid. Whether it's on food, clothes, or just water.lol. I couldn't imagine a vegetarian dating someone from texas who loves steak and eats it every waking moment and talks about how he animal must have hated getting cut into bits but he's doing him a favor now.

Yeah, it sucks. Me and my brother both prefer the more religious girls... They are just, how can I say this without offending people... Ah, what the hell! They are less slutty!

Lol, I said I prefer them. Actually I've never dated a girl before because I was more focused in schooling and sports. My brother didn't date till his senior year in high school haha. He's kinda become a man-whore now though... I just never saw it interesting to date a girl for a few weeks than dump or be dumped and move on to the next. In high school for the most part it's a game. But the high school where I came from, a lot of girls were getting pregnant. They just couldn't seem to keep their legs crossed now they have to deal with a baby.

No offense people, but I am anti-religious ^^, i believe that anyone who believes in their religion of two reasons, the reward and punishment system, a heaven for the goodie believers, and hell for the baddies lol, so i would choose my loved one anytime anyday

Would I let my religion stop me marrying someone of a different religion? No. To be fair that could cause some problems, I'm not a strong christian, but there's no way in hell I'd let my partner force our offspring into being hindu, or whatever religion she is. Even if she was the SAME relion as me I wouldn't let her force the child into being a bible basher and whatnot.
In the end the problem would end up being them and not me. I could marry someone of a different religion, but that only being if they were on the fence about their religion like me, then i guess we could both decide to raise our child into not being a believer. Equally I don't want all this other religion crap puched on me so...
In the end the answer is hard to explain; I wouldn't let religion be a dominating factor in whether I chose to be with someone or not, but neither am i going to succumb to another religion altogether.
