How do you think Gundam 00 will end?

what that doesnt make sense? TransAm is limited yes... but if you dont use it then you can just go on piloting forever provided you dont lose consciousness or get destroyed or... do something reckless and somehow use everything before it can be remade O.o lollol... the fake Drives need to be charged but the particles they release blot out communication like the real ones except.... the real particles are harmless.... =3

Wrong! Since GN Particles have to be emitted by the GN Drive, Particles will eventually run out hence limiting the potential. Yet the original may last for longer amounts of time than the fake without refilling the Gn Particles

hmmmm I thought it was that the particles are just the byproduct of some godly process in the Drives which kinda = unlimited usage...lol =P im not a tech freak XD

but didnt they ahve to charge up the ptolemy with the gundams drives? use their drives to produce the GN Field of the ship O.o

actually... they are.. however the GN drives use the byproduct(particles) to power up and work... the process has got something to do with solar energy... and in the end, the GN drives will be the key to obtaining unlimited energy after the space elevators collapse... (this is just my theory... read below for facts...)

if u watch the series carefully u'd have noticed that there are a few scenes that say something like "damn that aeolia schenberg, obtaining/using a technology that that is a few decades/centuries in the future" or something liddat... can't remember very well the exact quote but wad it was supposed to mean was that at that time, the GN drive was actually a futuristic mechanism that was able to produce huge amounts of GN particles in the GN drive that is used to generate electricity... thus obtaining a near unlimited energy supply...


(it requires just a little bit of attention to the small details in the series to find out large amounts of details about the GN drives... so don't ask me to support wad i say.. its all in the anime... watch it closely to find out)... there are always details in every series that hint to viewers about the events that will happen later on... but do note that i never said that the humans will actually use the GN drives to generate electricity for them after celestial being has fallen or disbanded or gone... it was just my theory, may/ may not be true...)

I've already heard about this GN Drive issue in blogs and forums. This issue (about how the GN Drive and the imitation GN Drive works) is something that the 2nd season should explicitly and clearly explain.

The GN Drive as well as the imitation was already described in the first season, but due to problems in translation (if i'm not mistaken, there's no difference in "to" and "from" in Japanese) it is not really clear how it is recharged.

A small exerp from Wiki says:

A GN Drive (GNドライヴ, GN Doraivu?) is a semi-perpetual generator scalable for installation on a mobile suit, which harnesses the photon and positron discharge of the non-evaporative decay of baryonic matter as an energy source.



I have very little clue what that says but GN Drives are pretty much an inexhaustable energy source, under standard operating procedures. That is why they are regarded to be so important in the series, with the pilots putting the GN Drives over their own lives (Lock-on and Tieria in particular, sending the drives back to base).

GN Particles is a by-product of the process of generating energy in the GN Drives, put to good use for interfering with radar and other standard detection and communications. The GN Drive itself, when operated normally, constantly produces energy and supplies energy at a rate that will allow the suit to operate for as long as needed.

When Trans-Am is initiated, the system is set to utilise energy at a much higher level than normal, effectively showing the full potential of the mobile suit, but since energy production is reduced in this state as well as the higher energy consumption rate, Trans-Am does not last long. After it wears off, the suit is still able to operate, but it will be at a point where very little energy is available so they should either restrict use of firearms to conserve energy or just go take a break somewhere for awhile.

The fake GN Drives (GN Drive Taus) are noted for their emission of red GN Particles. These GN Drives are present in the Thrones too, only the Thrones have vastly better weaponry than the GN-Xs (The suits supplied to AEU, Union etc) and the thrones had a direct link to Veda. The Fake drives are unable to supply and produce energy simultaneously, which is why they have limited operating time. It is still unclear why Fake GN Drives will emit red particles as opposed to the Greens by the original, though it is speculated to be due to an incomplete or non-perfect reaction in generating energy.

The Alvatore apparently had a gold particle discharge due to 7 GN Drive Tau's being installed. (Since when did red become gold when multiplied by 7?).

heh.. i edited my post from "unlimited energy" to huge amount cuz i couldn't confirm it... oh well... are u trying to contradict me or wad?? if it doesn't seem like it then dun qoute me la u!!! its like as if u trying to re-butt my point.. wtf wtf wtf FTW!!!

i guess the Trans-Arm thingy is like a booster in a video-game like scenario whereby u use up all ur energy for extra power booster for a short period of time...

well basically i guess the reason why after Trans-arm is depleted the mobile suit's performance reduces because for example :

since GN drive generator output = mobile suit consumption rate, energy level in the mobile suit is maintained (lets put it at 50TP.. just a figure)... but when TransArm is used, it uses up all of the energy (all of the 50TP) at once to give the boost for the MS... thus after TransArm is gone the energy level is at ~5-10TP(this bit is produced by the GN drive during the TransArm mode... it constantly produces... *note this is not used up by the TransArm)

now lets say that that for every hit the MS takes, 3TP is reduced from the MS' energy level... this will explain its reduced performance...

by performance i mean that its defences... not the attacking power... attacking power still remains...(note: TransArm only increases speed of MS)

therefore... why in the anime they say its dangerous for the gundams to fight after TransArm is depleted is because since the energy level is lower than normal... it takes fewer hits to KO the gundam... thus making it more 'fragile' after TransArm is used...

but if TransArm is not used, energy level is at 50TP, thus the gundam can take more hits before being detroyed...

*Note: the above mentioned stuff are just my theory for newbies to understand more easily as to why and how the TransArm affect the Gundam's performance after it is used up...
