Currently good pay lies in shipping and oil companies. A certain maritime company (which i dun want say who) gave abt 7-8 months bonus last year while oil companies usually pays quite a lot. U can ask those friends of yours who are doing attachment in such areas, usually their pay is higher than those in other engineering attachment companies.

hahaha. but it's hard to choose lah. JC is the hardest part of our lives as students. uni is like a breeze compared to it. poly is relatively easier lah, but like i said before, if want to go uni tensions are high. only like 10% of poly can make it in, compared to the what, 70% and above for jc?

o yes, if you wanna go into computer engineering, its better to go into jc den computer engineering cos the things taught aren't in depth and are very shallow. whereas in uni, you would learn everything from scratch like of what the poly ppl will learn and even more in depth , hope this help

If you have decided the path u want to take, i.e you have specifically wanted to go into a certain profession, then going into poly would be good cause it somehow give you a better depth of knowledge that is related to the profession. JC on the other hand will give you the academic knowledge that will be required for possible future study. YUP

hai hai... absolutely... thats one way of looking at it... unless your certain profession is a lawyer or doctor... then getting an A level cert or IB then a degree looks better... and may be easier..

i support the poly choice :D
cause if you go poly got the attachment programme.
you get to learn and gain experience, next time you go find job still can write in your resume xD

but the poly choice is better for those who know what they wanna be in the future already.
cause you have a dream a goal you can work hard towards it
