I would say poly. My sis is in JC, and I see her so stressed up half the time.
And these days, Poly is quite popular with Teens.

I wanna go Ngee Ann Poly! ><

Well, from my point of view, going to JC or poly depends on what u wanna b when u grow up.
So its not really JC better than Poly or vice versa.
If u wanna be like maybe accountants, lawyers, doctors.
JC is obviously a easier road in that sense.
If u wanna go into something technical, like aerospace engineering,
then of cos poly is the best choice.
So it really depends. Cos poly when u go Uni,u can skip the 1st year so in a sense it kinda levels up the age u need to study.

let me c... hmm... go poly more suit my personality... haha... since i m a super slacker... n my language n humanities suck BIG time...

in poly... although u nid to submit projects/reports, do grp work, do prac, n b on time for lessons or the lecturer may not take ur attendance...(can only 10 min late, less than 75% attendance cannot take exam)

but one good thing is last min study for Tests and stuff ( exam at least one/two week earlier)haha... i wasnt listening to lessons (since i always half hr late, skipped lessons, slping in class) i totally didnt noe wad the teacher is saying... flung 2 of my test... but thanks to my fren who kindly explained de concepts behind it/ lent me her notes/ excerises i got a B+ grade for it... haha... of course Diff course may differ frm each other...
hmm... abit abt myself... my L1R5 is 13 (nice no.but lousy ) i went to Sg Poly studying Dip in Chemical Engineering... (me got one crazy fren siao siao got 8 for L1R5 yet she com poly... sigh...)

Hmm I'm still thinking abt it too T_T
My mum told mi to aim for JC, bcos if I aim for poly, I will slack more den my results will drop =.="
She said until we get back results le den slowly choose, whereas all my teachers tell mi must choose now ><

Btw wat I have decided now is - go JC first, den if realli cannot make it, den go poly lor.
The most is waste 2yrs of my life onli. I mean there is still a chance I can survive in JC, right? O_O
I'm also thinking of another thing; overseas studies. Izit advisable?
Another route will be after graduating from poly, continue further studies overseas?
Haix my tuition teacher wants mi to go poly, while my parents want mi to go JC =.="

The poly talk tt was held today, gave us 3 impt factors for choosing of courses, namely interest, cut-off pts & job prospects.
If u're very interested, fufilled the cut-off pts & the course actualli gives u an opportunity for further studies, den it's the course for ya (:
Irrelevant but juz sharing xD The poly is ngee ann poly ^^

Dun let anyone dictate where u want to go. Ask yourself which field are u interested in or what u wanna do when u grow up. Yes it may be true to say "i can't the tell the future" or even few years down the road "This dun suit me". Thus its best to ask those already in the industry about their career and what they studied to get there. Its best to start targetting career fairs to know what u want. This way poly or a jc will be clearer.

Continuing your education in foreign universities is up to your own decision. First see whether your family can sponsor u (for singapore uni, u will receive tuition grants from the government waivering off a sizable chunk of tuition fees) or if they can't apply for scholarship. Secondly, conduct your own survey, see whether your future industry will recognise the foreign uni's degree u r getting. Lastly if u decide to go, dun ever quit halfway cause its already so expensive to study overseas if u r on a scholarship, u r liable to pay the organisation sponsoring u a penalty.
