Damn, I wish I have 15k to turbocharge my benz. T_T

Wow, this is a tough one. I love the look of a Roots-style blower sticking through a hood. However there is no denying the benefits and usability of a well laid out turbo system. I'd love to put a couple on the 406 in my toy! Superchargers are cheaper, but they do require power to make it. I guess I'll go with turbos.

Supercharger. They're more reliable and provide instant power. I want to supercharge my BMW but can't decide between centrifugal or twin screw. The only problem I have with superchargers is the parasitic effects due to the belt-driven system. I don't know if I can live with less than 20MPG.

You could hear that pssssssh sound in a far distance especially during a drive by the neighborhood ... you can run BOV's on supercharged applications. As for the supercharger/turbo debate, it would depend on the type of car and what it's being built for. Seeing as I'm a bit of a Nissan fanboy, definitely turbo. KA-T biatch |

I'm a little burnt off on KA-T setups. Maybe it's because the Nissan fanboy I know is all about KA-T and won't ever get off it's nuts. Get this, he has $8000 invested into his 240sx. You think, 8k, it must be one badass 240. It isn't. I swear I could buy a 240 out of a junkyard and be faster and look better than his. He's been through two rebuilds within one year, and f'd up his T25 turbo (which is about the size of my Integra motor mount) because he got to impatient to see the car run. We've told him to just get the SR20 from the start but he just doesn't listen. Personally man, just get the SR20. You just might be saving yourself alot of trouble. |

It depends on your preference. Or you can have both at the same time = twincharger.

Deffo a super charger.
Provies instant power instead of power at Higher RPM |

mmmmmmmm

Turbo for sure because it gives more power than supercharge, even though its delayed. That and the other reason is because my car already has Turbo+BOV.. The only minus is its lifespan. Mines probly gonna die soon. |
