no...FWD....it seems most EVERYONE who talks to me about the car either 1)thinks its a slow ass eclipse knockoff, non turbo...(it cost MORE than the eclipse did, and didnt have the cheap RS option like the eclipse...only ESI=GS and GST/GSX=TSI/TSI AWD)

2)they are all AWD only (they had both models...)

i am DYING to have AWd...the only AWD car i have driven is a stock 2004 WRX...and OOMMMGGGGGG_i couldnt launch for shit, and it had no power at all compared to mine....but i fell in love lol

...my turbo is at full boost around 2600 rpm....and pulls till about 6k (redline at 7400) ^_^

i want bigger tho...but not intil i get an AWD

I know what that turbo is.....haha ..6k power drop off. Sounds like you have a case of the 14b blues...

hahaha YES the good old 14b.....AMAZING for quick spool...but to be able to last intil 6 i have to take off the exhuast after the DOWNPIPE hahaha

i did have it off totaly...but it woldnt spool inti about 3200...and it was SO OUD

i wanted a sidepipe made, like SRT4s run....but the local shop wouldnt do it for me lol (and i dont wanna be like all the SRT4s running around here anyways...)

Im thinking about doing that to my car too. I havent fully decided yet on what to do. Either fun a full 3" to a hollowed out stock muffler(quieter) or run a side exit.

Do you have d-link? I just tuned my buddies 2g with a 14b. We welded the wastegate shut so it would run full boost cause it was opening at 20 psi. Tuned on 80% e85 20% 93. Boost was topped out at around 25psi and we got a full 30lbs/min out of it.. It was no fun at all seeing that we maxed that turbo out and there was nothing left.

I was going to go try for the 14b awd no nitrious record (11.6) until we pulled this stunt.

I dont know if its me or not but I've driven and s2000 and it doesnt really have any balls. Its rated at 240 crank yet has no bottem end at all....The mid was i guess average and the top was when you can actually feel some power. I found myself constantly shifting at 4K and above cause it wouldnt go anywhere. No offense to s2k owners but I like the body but not the motor.

It only makes 240HP because it revs all the way to 9000. All Honda motors are top end. In the S2000's, it's ALL top end.

for awhile I was afraid of the spool up time on turbo's and the superchargers were belt driven so they leeched off the engine before making power. UNTIL I drove my friends turbo'ed ride LMAO Oh dear gawd now I cant stop!!! the turbine just gets BIGGER! LMAO so F/I (ahem, forced induction, i.e. turbo or supercharged) ALL THE WAY.... atleast until it goes BOOM

My car is stock.. but i'm planning to get the aem v2 intake to get 10hp prob around Christmas. The only thing I changed was the stock air filter and oil filter.. I replaced them with K&N filters and I use Mobile 1 synthetic car oil. So far so good it's daily drivable... my friends who bought sti's, m3, 350z, g35 all sold their cars b/c too much money for gas and 300hp in the city isn't daily drivable. I love my car so much, I'll never sell it. it's a legendary car, best 4 banger out there with class.

I don't think you would get 10HP from an intake on the s2k.

Those cars undriveable in the city? I think your friends just can't drive. I've known plenty of cars with plenty of power than gets driven daily.
We got 600HP Camaro, runs 10s, driven everyday. I've seen this car alot and it doesn't show any problems.
And several turbo Hondas with 400HP+ that are driven daily.

I also agree with you. how does having 400+ make your car undriveable on the streets?

IF that was so, why do ppl still buy euro super cars? its obviously not just to let them sit or REALLY go to track days. they drive them on the streets so everyone can see how baller they are/ stupid that they spent half a million dollars on a car that will never be used to its FULL potential.
