If one sits in a class, but does not talk, would you perceive him as something other than a loner?

I'm a big loner I spend most of my time alone me and people don't really get along because my views on things.

But being a loner means spending most of your time alone its okay to ease your mind when your alone but when people care enough to want to be around you don't ignore them trying to be something like a loner.

There's a difference between being lonely and being alone, you can be both, but being alone doesn't always mean you're lonely.

i think i'm like, half a loner and half not. i spend time with my friends, but sometimes i just can't take their personalities or complaints and just need a break. that's when i go into an open classroom at school, sit down and read contentedly.

I had really closed friends, who I only talked to at school, but not at home. I tried to keep a line between home activities and school activities.
Students at school throughout teenage years of my life, hated me for being a school girl. I always do my hw, pay attention in class, and study for my tests. I tried being kind to them, but instead I was recieve with critism and constant insults about my appearance. I didn't really care about my appearance back then, because I believe that knowledge is more powerful than spending useless times in front of a mirror to look pretty for who? I was young, and I was naive about everything I do, and the people that surrounded me. I was taunted for being fat, geeky, and totally wierd. I was taunted for everything stupid thing I do that I just lost my mind. I will never ever raise my hand in class to answer a question, or talked to anyone who approach me. Back in the days, I was antisocial kid and very passive. I felt used by all my classmates when they ask me for help on their hw assignment, I thought I finally made a friend. But, she dissed me after she recieve a good grade. I hate this stupid world with all these superficial people. I trust no one but myself.

Now, I have improved quite alot, now I became too opinated for my own good, sarcasm, and witty comebacks. I take shit from no one, and I don't mind telling them to STFU when their annoying.

I'm really introverted and quiet, and because of that it's really hard for me to make friends, but I don't consider myself a loner because I still got family, adn some close friends...
but from my experiences at school, its hard for me to trust people.
I was very naive back in 3rd grade, i had two very best friends, we were like a trio, but when the other two were together, and I wasn't with them, they would always talk crap about me, even in front of my face sometimes... not only that but one moved away, and the other betrayed me and left me for another person to hang out with... She even told basically the whole 3rd grade who my crush was!
From then on, I started to wise up that people cannot be trusted and I began to keep to myself...

I'm alone, not lonely. There's nothing wrong not talking to people. I enjoy silence much more than ten mouths speaking at once
about stuff I don't really care. Sure I have good friends, but I enjoy being by myself more than anything. I can think, write and read
much, much better.
