i think i was a loner till the age of 3 when my sis was born if that doesnt count then the age of 4 first frend
ive always had frends since then
but sumtimes i jus want complete solitude
like when im at my house and theres no where to go with frends i like to be alone

Hmm. I'm not very social, but I have a few friends.

I pity all of you. I have my own imaginary friends! They're awesome, they do what ever I tell them to.

i was born to be an introvert.. plus in school i was always an outcast! i have friends but only with people who have a similar personality or with people who have common interests with me. most of my friends are asian even though i grew up in america. i dunno, i just dont know what to talk to people about if they are not interested in stuff i am and vice versa.

i feel a loner sometimes, but in reality i am not....
i think you should isolate ur self from others.....

I am a certified loner. I do everything myself..except some help from internet friends.

i've always been a loner. i just like to be alone. i do have friends though. just don't hang out alot. i'm a quiet person.

I've been that way myself for most of my life as well...a loner, that is. I also have a few close friends and good acquaintances, but I keep to myself also.

Just like a lot of you on this thread.

A lot of it, I found out reading up on this, has to do with temperament.

Hippocrates, the father of Western medicine, found out about this stuff over 2400 years ago. It is known as the Four Temperaments. The temperament most linked to us loners is called "Melancholy". This is the temperament that has produced the most scholars, poets, artists, mystics, statesmen and saints.

Unfortunately, it also is the temperament that has folks prone to being loners, as well as suffering most from depression or worse. "Been there, done that" in my case.

sometimes i want to be alone.. i feel at ease.. no worries...

i was a loner when i was young...sort of influenced by my brother who was also quite a loner. he told me that being loner was "cool" and even "taught" me how to be "cool". but yeah i guess i didn't really need him, i'm rather introverted by myself.

i'm not so much of a loner now, although i guess most people around me still see me as a loner and stay away from me. i sort of have split personalities, i can be extremely quiet around people i'm uncomfortable with, or i can be the spark of the party when everyone around me are my close friends.

sometimes i get low self-confidence. and that's when i start to turn emo.

i kind of mistrust people in general as well. i quite recently learnt that most other people out there are only looking out for themselves all the time... so i figured that the "smart" thing to do in an environment like this is not to trust people too easily....and i guess i've become like them myself. i'm waiting for someone to prove this wrong.
