Oops, I erased what I said. But yeah, the esscence of the entering and leaving the world in a similar state. How we're young and foolish without much knowledge, and how when we turn old we lose parts of who we are and return our knowledge and experiences to the world in a sense.

Hmm...

You find it beautiful that we start off as 10 pound babies in diapers and then turn into senile old (wo)men in daipers who have lost that which made them unique?
I think it's more like the weirdo part.

Your taking it literally, I mean mentally. Sorta like how people believe in reincarnation, idk, it's hard to explain.

eh. i certainly don't find the beauty in turning old... i'm 20 and i feel like i'm ancient already. the ppl on tv now are all like younger than me now. And in 10 years i will be getting wrinkles, saggy skin and medical problems. eh..And then there is kids popping out of my body..and the weight that comes with it .
lol
so at the moment nope. Hopefully that will change when i get OLDER, or i will be a very very angry person. haha

I dont find any beauty in turning old We simply age, lose hair, lose are looks and are closer to death. Once dead, it doesnt matter anymore, your gone you forget because now to you, you werent ever on the earth in the first place. When your old your just getting ready to rot in the ground. Face it.

Old age scares me more than anything else in the whole wide world. I don’t plan on having my autumn years at all. I hope to die nice and young. I want to go down while a blaze of glory. Or while autoerotically asphyxiating….

Anyway, the worst death in the world is old age. *Flinches as he sees somebody being mauled by a shark on the T.V) Next to that. Anyway, old age is not beautiful in my opinion. You’re probably one of the very few who find it in anyway appealing or attractive.

The beauty of being old is that you end up appreciating the simple things in life more. You don't really have to worry as much because you did everything you wanted to do in life. I guess thats where the term living life to its fullest comes into effect. So when you turn old you can look back at your younger days and say " that was soo stupid" or "what was I thinking" and smile about it.

Sometimes I myself think that my mindset doesn't fit my age, then again age is just a number.

Being old would be amusing. I plan to sit in my neighbors driveway and tell people to keep off my lawn (meaning the footpath), then blaming it all on senility. Telling anyone who's not me they need a haircut, and go on for several hours about the price of fish (unless we're talking about the price of fish, then i need to talk about the state of the world) when i was younger.

Apart from that, all you can really do when old is rant, look back on your regret and wait for the reaper. Which has it's own charm i guess, not too many people live long enough to see the dark lady kill off most of the generation you were born in ^^ Got Revenge?

I don't want to get to the age where a rest-home is a good option. It's sort of a drain on society in my opinion. Since i'd contribute nothing and just drain resources that could be better spent on medical research, catgirls and other such projects. Of course, the gods hate me, so i'm gonna live to 500 >.<

Although it is true that you grow smarter and more mature as you age, it will soon turn on you once you hit the retirement age. The society that you once loved and admired would change right in front of you. Some would not even care for an old man like yourself anymore. Before that age however, almost everyone lives a happy aging life, well most men do ;D. Aging is women's most hated enemy.

If can't accept yourself turning into an old fart someday... make a death mask, have a body mold and commit suicide in the most attractive way possible... and people will always remember the young vibrant you...

It's called wisdom... Biologically speaking, it stinks to grow old... because that means you may lose the ability to do some things which may have defined who you are... for example, you were a surgeon that saved lives... but arthritis at your old age prevents you from continuing what you've spent your life to do.

But it's in these trivialities of life that you come to a point and look at your life from a perspective. Maturing and understanding how we're part of the bigger scheme of things truly IS beautiful, but why think about growing old when you have so much to look forward to? You're 15 ~ I say live in the NOW for a bit before life bites you in the arse.
