lol, i kinda get what ur saying...i guess the makers just wanted them to die. (they don't always die do they?)
plus, if they didn't i dont think the general audience would be really happy with the ending...if there is one.

Uh...because good wins against evil of course. Evil people do bad things which make most everyone hate them, so everyone is happy when the bad guys die, I suppose.

Not true, in Code Geass Lelouche could be classed as the evil character and he is to some extent an evil genius, with no care for the moral well being of the world, as long as he can overthrow his father. He isnt dead yet (he may die in season 2 though)

Not exactly true, but close. he only cares about his sister. He would have given it up, except his eye activated permanently at the WORST possible incident. He does want revenge on the royal family (evil) for justice for his mother (good). He goes about it in a bad way, but there really isn't another option because the ruling class blocked him from seeking justice for his mother.

because they are evil...

but it would be better if the evil guy will be friend
with the heroine/hero that would be a great ending..

what do you think...

He could go about it in a peaceful way using his position as a prince of Britania but instead chooses the road of blood. He could have protected his sister in a world that doesn't feel the touch of reality. Whilst he does seek justice from his mother there are much easier ways to go about it. Just by using his geas to question everybody he would be able to track it back to the culprite and the very nature of his geas would stop anyone from remembering him.

Anyway that insane laugh should be proof enough that he is meant to be seen, to some extent, as evil. Whilst he would have given up his campeign against Britania (and accidently killed his half sister at the time) that still doesn't remove the fact that he hasn't hesitated to murder on his way there. Upon aquiring his power he had a bunch of troops shoot themselves, whilst he could have ordered them just to let him pass. I love that seen, the insantity in their eyes as they say 'yes your highness'.

True, true, to an extent he is evil. But he's not so far gone yet to be unredeemable like Light.
